The valve head pairs directly with the app on your smartphone, where you have full control over the current temperature and heating schedules.
The supported apps are Tuya Smart, Smart Life, and also the built-in BlitzWolf app. In these apps, you can easily set an exact temperature schedule for every day of the week—up to 6 different time windows are available. This way you can reduce heating costs while still keeping comfort.
Scheduling, voice control, and child lock
Besides the mobile app, it’s also possible to control the BlitzWolf BW-TRV16 by voice—compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant services lets you change the temperature easily without touching your phone. The valve head also includes a built-in child-lock mode that prevents children or pets from accidentally changing the settings.
Another interesting feature is battery level resilience— even with low battery capacity, the valve head motor can still generate a maximum opening force of 80 N, so it reliably opens and closes the valve. Two heads, installed just a few days ago. Easy, trouble-free mounting with one of the included adapters. WiFi is stable, response is trouble-free.
I’d appreciate the ability to create my own day mode or my own day—however, in the settings there are only two day types: a workday and a day off. It’s not really a problem though. I use SmartLife; both automation and manual control work. Let’s see how the batteries hold up. Otherwise, I’m satisfied
