The electric bike DEEPOWER A1 is, considering its price, an incredible fat bike. With this piece, the DEEPOWER manufacturer decided to beat its competition—such as the model Engwe EP-2 Pro—and that in two versions at once.

Compared to the EP-2 Pro, A1 is cheaper, with a more powerful 250 W motor, and depending on the version it also has a battery capacity that’s bigger by 2 / 7 Ah. The DEEPOWER manufacturer brings 2 powerful models that differ from each other in battery capacity and range. Both models are equipped with a 1000 W motor and a 7-speed Shimano drivetrain, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride. The difference is in battery capacity and maximum range.

The first model has a battery of 48 V 15 Ah, which provides a range of 60-80 km, while the second model with a 48 V 20 Ah battery increases the range to 70-90 km on a single charge in assisted mode. If you prefer a purely electric drive, the 15 Ah battery version can handle 45 km, and the 20 Ah version 5 km more. Both models achieve a top speed of 57 km/h, making them ideal for really fast riding. The model with the bigger battery is perfect if you want to enjoy your ride without worrying about charging too often.

Charging the battery takes about 6 hours

Charging is simple with a standard charger DC 2.5 / 48 V 2 A, which—according to the manufacturer—needs a little over 6 hours for a full charge of the lithium battery. For safety reasons, the electric bike will be delivered with an uncharged battery, and the first charging may take up to 8 hours.

The DEEPOWER A1 has a robust frame, but delivers exceptional comfort

The fat bike is truly robust, weighing 30.9 kg including the rear rack, and according to reviews it attracts the attention of passers-by. Its matte black frame is made from an aluminum alloy, and unlike some folding bikes, the A1 frame doesn’t rattle while riding—everything fits together tightly.

The height-adjustable seat is made of PVC, features a hollow design, and includes a built-in clip for extra comfort during long rides. You can also attach a bag to it under the saddle.
