The electric fat bike DUOTTS S26 is among the most interesting models on the market e-bikes. The powerful electric fat bike stands out with a modern design and a sturdy build. Also, its frame is made of an aluminum alloy. Aluminum helps save on the bike’s total weight, but it still stopped at up to 42 kg. That makes it one of the heaviest fat bikes we’ve written about so far.

DUOTTS S26 thinks about rider comfort
The fat bike comes with off-road tires featuring an aggressive tread profile 26 x 4″ from Chao Yang, which let it handle all types of terrain.
S26 looks comfortable thanks to its wide handlebars, a soft saddle post, and dual suspension—on the front fork (adjustable) and on the frame below the seat (non-adjustable). All of this ensures great comfort on the road and proper shock absorption on rough terrain.
To make the ride truly comfortable, the dirt bike is suitable for riders who are 170 to 200 cm tall.
Hydraulic disc brakes and Shimano derailleur
The S26 e-bike is equipped with hydraulic brakes from DYIsland both at the front and the rear, with 160 mm rotors. To slow down the fat bike’s high weight, they must—and do—offer solid braking power. DUOTTS S26 uses a classic base 7-speed system Shimano.
DUOTTS S26 has a nice color LCD display
The central LCD screen shows a clear overview of all important data such as speed, distance, battery status, and the level of assistance. It also ensures good readability even in strong sunlight and lets you adjust some settings as needed.
A large battery and a range of up to 120 km
One of the main advantages of the DUOTTS S26 electric bike is its powerful long-life battery. The lithium battery 48 V 19.2 Ah with cells from the well-known manufacturer LG provides 912 Wh of energy. This lets you ride long distances—up to 120 km on a single charge.
In addition, even with such a heavy bike equipped with 2 x 750 W motors, the battery maintains good performance, even when it’s nearly fully depleted. However, it’s important to note that charging is rather slow—at 54 V / 2 A, which means a full charge can take 8 to 9 hours. When planning bigger trips, it’s worth keeping that in mind.
Upgraded handlebars
Riding the DUOTTS S26 e-bike is intuitive, but there are many buttons on the handlebars. Besides the standard buttons for adjusting the levels of electric assistance and speed, you’ll also find an electric horn and a dedicated button for the front light. Another button lets you turn the motor in the front wheel on or off anytime.
If we add a key ignition lock and a smartphone holder, the handlebars become a multifunctional control dashboard. Everything is within reach, but with the downside of limited space.
Powerful electric assistance
In the standard mode with only the rear motor activated, the ride is smooth—even if it seems like the bike’s weight affects handling. Assistance levels are fairly powerful, and level 2 (out of 5) reaches over 20 km/h, while level 3 30 km/h. To start the electric assist and trigger the impulse, a quarter turn of the pedals is enough.
Without electric assist, given its weight, it’s hard to manage this bike. On flat ground, a fatbike can easily reach 25 to 30 km/h with simple manual pedaling, but it’s difficult to control even at the slightest bumps. That’s why the electric aid has its place on the ride.
DUOTTS S26 conquers even steep hills
DUOTTS S26 comes with a practical acceleration handle for starting from a standstill, for example at traffic lights. The throttle grip can also be used to move the bike forward without you needing to pedal, turning it into a small electric scooter.
By pressing the red button, the motor on the front wheel is activated—so you’ll get higher power and, above all, a larger torque that’s distributed across both wheels.
DUOTTS S26 then has 2 drive wheels. On the road, this basically translates into noticeably stronger acceleration and lets you reach a top speed of 45 to 50 km/h (or a bit more depending on the rider’s weight).
With both motors activated, climbing very steep hills or tackling demanding terrain becomes a walk in the park. When riding demanding terrain with both motors activated, expect around 40 km of range on pure electric power.
IP65 protection and 150 kg load capacity
The bike is certified with IP65, but the manufacturer emphasizes that its waterproofing is good only for light rain—not for submersion (riding through a stream or river).
DUOTTS S26 is supplied with a baggage carrier that can carry up to 80 kg. You can load the fatbike up to 200 kg (rider + additional load on the carrier). The bike also has a mounting point for a rear light, but it isn’t included in the package.
Higher maintenance requirements
A heavy bike like this, with strong power and torque, will undoubtedly need more regular maintenance than other bikes—especially when used on sandy, dusty, or muddy terrain.
What’s included in the package?
The package weighs 47 kg. DUOTTS S26 is delivered partially pre-assembled. After unpacking, you need to mount the front wheel, handlebars, seatpost, front light, and fenders—and if necessary, add the rear baggage carrier.
You can install these parts without much trouble, thanks to the diagrams in the manual. The assembly itself takes 45 to 60 minutes.
The bike comes with 2 sets of keys: one for removing the battery (if you can’t charge it directly on the bike) and one for starting the bike. You also get a smartphone holder with a USB port powered from the battery.
