At CES 2025, Hisense unveiled a stunning massive 163″ micro LED TV!

The popular electronics show CES 2025 in American Las Vegas doesn’t hold back on surprises this year either. Chinese brand Hisense showcased, in fact, a massive micro LED TV with a diagonal of up to 163″.

Huge TVs for home or presentation purposes aren’t new. In the past, we’ve seen 98″ from Redmi or 105″ from TCL. Now, however, Hisense brings a completely new level. At the event, the brand introduced its first 136″ micro LED TV for consumers, but it also delivered significant surprises in the form of a gigantic 163″ micro LED TV.

The incredible diagonal shown at the presentation is, however, just a kind of teaser of what’s possible today. Hisense hasn’t clarified yet when the TV could officially go on sale, and we also don’t know the list of countries where this model will be available. Still, it’s not a concept—it’s a real product that pushes the limits in the segment, and you could personally check it out in Las Vegas.

Here are the technical specs:

A huge micro LED television needs plenty of space. The highly capable display technology will likely appeal only to a very specific type of user, who, of course, also has to have a suitable place to put it. In terms of technical specifications, though, both micro LED TV novelties are the same: 136″ (136MX) and 163″ (163MX).

The lineup includes a new processor, the Hi-View AI Engine X by Hisense, which will power millions of micro LED pixels for rich colors. AI features built into this processor are used to optimize image and sound quality, as well as control energy consumption.

The screen supports formats Dolby Vision IQ, as well as HDR10+ HDR. As for audio, both micro LED TVs will come with a speaker setup supporting Dolby Atmos and DTS:Virtual X formats. Connectivity should also please gamers. Two HDMI 2.1 ports support 4K 120 HZ content. You can also use VRR technology (including AMD FreeSync Premium Pro) and ALLM technology.

The smaller—and even the flagship—Hisense micro LED TV currently doesn’t have an announced official sale price. And neither has a release date been announced. If we look at competing 136″ micro LED models from TCL (H11 Max), LG, and Samsung, though, we’re talking about the range of several tens of thousands of euros.
