Assembly is simple and takes about 30 minutes

After ordering, you can expect a bigger shipment, because the e-bike arrives pre-assembled. Some parts still need to be put together by yourself, but this process is not at all complicated and won’t take more than 30 minutes.

A typical KuKirin design with surprisingly compact dimensions

KuKirin V2 has a very stylish design, continuing the line of other KuKirin products: a black body with orange accents.

“Folding bike” isn’t too big, and even though it’s electric, it’s more compact than other standard folding bikes (e.g. from Decathlon). Considering the dimensions, this bike measures 147 cm in length, 100 cm in height, and 54 cm in width.

Please note that, since this is a universal size, this e-bike won’t be suitable for everyone, because you can only adjust the seat height and the handlebar angle, but not the bike’s height. The manufacturer recommends the V2 for people with heights from 140 to 190 cm. On the other hand, the frame is made of a magnesium alloy, and therefore the maximum load this bike can handle is up to 120 kg.

A 250 W motor that lets you handle even a 15% incline

This bike has two 20-inch wheels and a motor built into the rear wheel with a rated output of 250 W, which can reach up to 430 W of maximum power when you need it most.

This motor allows you to climb slopes in electric mode up to a 15% incline, but if you pedal as well, you’ll be able to tackle an even bigger incline on this bike.

This bike has two 160 mm mechanical disc brakes on the front and rear wheels, providing stronger and more precise braking performance.

7,500 mAh battery with a 40 km range

The battery is removable and sits in the seat-post construction. To remove the battery, you need to use one of the two keys you’ll find included with the bike. The procedure is quite simple — thanks to this, the manufacturer makes it hard to steal the battery.

The battery has a total capacity of 7,500 mAh at 36 volts, which translates into a maximum range (according to the manufacturer) of up to 40 km in pure electric mode. If you combine it with pedal-assist mode, you can reach up to 60 km. However, this is a figure that depends on rider weight, speed, mode, and terrain. In real conditions, the range is usually lower.

7-speed Shimano Tourney derailleur

The shifting mechanism is located on the right side of the handlebars and lets you adjust the gears using 7 sprockets. The derailleur is reliable since it comes from Shimano.

On the left side of the handlebars you’ll find a lever for the rear wheel brake, a reflector, and an LCD display. On the right handlebars you’ll find the front wheel brake lever, the “throttle” as you already know it, the Shimano derailleur, and a bell.

Top speed 25 km/h

By combining the gearbox drive with the motor and battery, this bike can reach a maximum speed of 25 km/h, meaning it meets European standards. The e-bike has a speed-increase button, but if needed, it can be disconnected.

The LCD display shows all the important data

The V2 is equipped with an anti-glare LCD display that, despite its small size, lets you quickly get a complete overview of the data and the current status of the e-bike. Here you can see data such as the speed mode, total miles/km ridden, current speed, and the remaining battery capacity.

The KuKirin V2 has front and rear lights

When it comes to safety, the KuKirin V2 has an adjustable front light that will be very useful in the dark, and it also features a brake light at the back. This bike also has reflectors on the front and rear wheels, and above the handlebars.

Harder to fold, but solid when riding

As we already mentioned, the bike can be folded for easier transport and storage. In both folded and unfolded states, the bike is really sturdy—which is a downside in that it’s harder to fold, but more importantly, there’s no play in the parts, and it doesn’t rattle while riding.

Hi! From our experience over the past 4 years on Geekbuying, 11.11. is weaker for some record-low prices. You’ll definitely find a lot better prices, but the differences on products like these—where they have to protect their margins—aren’t that big. If you’re going to use it actively, buy it now; if not, wait until November. 🙂

Be careful with AliExpress—those are the biggest thieves. They won’t deliver the goods, and they won’t refund your money.
