N-One NBook Ultra: 2.5K 165 Hz display and AMD Ryzen 7 processor

N-One NBook Ultra is a full-fledged laptop model with dimensions of 365,5 x 247,5 x 19,5 mm. The design also includes a numeric keypad, a hinge that lets you tilt the screen all the way flat with the base (180°), and all of that in a metal body weighing just 1.8 kilograms. You'll appreciate these features not only when presenting, but especially when traveling.

When you open the lid, you'll see a large up to 16″ IPS display at the top with a 2.5K resolution (2560 x 1600 pixels). But that's not its only advantage. It also has a practical 16:10 aspect ratio, a 100% sRGB color gamut, and a high refresh rate of up to 165 Hz.

So it's also great for gaming fans. For work, you'll also appreciate the 1 MPx camera for video calls, located above the display.

Windows 11 Pro, Wi-Fi 6 and up to 83 Wh battery

Performance is handled by the integrated AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor (8 cores, 16 threads) with clock speeds of 3,8 – 5,1 GHz and a 4 nm manufacturing process. It's accompanied by an AMD Radeon 780M graphics chip, as well as 32 GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 1 TB of fast SSD storage.

The laptop has a QWERTY keyboard layout (US distribution), and Windows 11 Pro (with global language support) welcomes you as the software. It also has a backlit keyboard, Bluetooth 5.2, and connectivity via the Wi-Fi 6. standard

The port selection of this device offers 2 x USB-A ports, a DC power port, as well as 2 x USB Type-C ports (USB 3.2), an HDMI 2.0 connector for video output, and a standard 3.5 mm audio jack for connecting wired headphones. The built-in battery has a capacity of 83 Wh and offers battery life of up to 7 hours on a single charge.

so now I know how to turn on the backlight, all it took was pressing Fn+F9 and that's it..

by the way, do you know how to turn on the keyboard backlight on it? do you have to go somewhere in the BIOS because apart from the 2 dots for num lock and caps lock, nothing else lights up.. should I return it? ..and btw it says it has Wi-Fi 6, but I'm on fiber Wi-Fi and it maxes out at 250-350 Mbit and I'm close to the router ..kind of weird.. yet on my phone, which also has Wi-Fi 6, in exactly the same spot it easily gets almost 500 Mbit.. who knows what cheap Chinese crap Wi-Fi 6 card it has or could the built-in Wi-Fi card be faulty too?

Try to get some kind of WiFi 6 or WiFi 7 card and replace the one that’s in there now. It’ll be hard to claim that in China if the built-in WiFi is faulty — the only option is to replace it with another one. At that speed, it definitely shouldn’t be giving you such slow performance on fiber. Try other networks too, or fiber elsewhere; if it’s this slow there as well, then it’s clear you need to replace the WiFi card, or maybe use an external one in the USB slot. There are also tiny ones that won’t get in the way and cost literally just a few euros, so be glad it’s only the WiFi. With Chinese gear, you never know — that applies to everything, especially if it’s not from global brands like Xiaomi or similar.
Anyway, at this class and with this spec, you’d expect some quality, but other customers don’t seem to complain about the WiFi in reviews, so it’s probably just your case..

I even got it for 670 with a coupon—about a week or two ago, right when those flash sales started, that was a real top deal. It arrived a few days ago—I'm just testing it now. For that price, it’s definitely great. Just make sure to buy CZ/SK keyboard stickers, a USB-C to LAN adapter since it doesn’t have an LAN port, and a wireless mouse to go with it. That’s how these configured notebooks go for us with brand-name laptops too—easily for 1000+ EUR. I just hope the SSD is upgradeable—at least some customers wrote that the disk capacity can be expanded, that there’s a spare slot available. So mainly—hope it lasts and works well.
