OnePlus 13 gets a massive 24 GB RAM memory! Xiaomi or Honor competitors won’t be able to keep up

During the next month, several Chinese giants are preparing to unveil new flagship phones. These include manufacturers Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo, and Vivo. More specifically, you can look forward to Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro, OnePlus 13, the Oppo Find X8 series, and the Vivo X200 lineup, which will come with new chips MediaTek Dimensity 9400. OnePlus 13 is expected to be unveiled at the end of October, and according to the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, it will bring up to 24 GB RAM in the biggest memory variant. No other model—including iQOO 13 or Honor Magic 7 Pro—will be able to compete with that.

Yes, you read that right. The priciest memory version will indeed include up to 24 GB LPDDR5X RAM. The other flagship models that will be unveiled in October won’t offer that much operating memory. Of course, you’ll also have to pay extra for that amount of RAM. However, we still don’t know the exact price tag.

OnePlus 13 will come with several much-anticipated upgrades. It will obviously include a new chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. The display should come with a 6.8-inch diagonal and will be an OLED BT LTPO panel made by BOE. It won’t be missing a slight curve on all four edges. With a resolution of 1440 x 3168 px and a 120 Hz refresh rate, it should be a well-equipped smartphone.

An excellent addition will be an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner that’s significantly faster and more accurate than a traditional optical reader. As for the camera setup, you can look forward to a 50 MPx main sensor LYT-808 with optical image stabilization, a 50 MPx ultra-wide lens with a LYT-600 chip, and a 50 MPx 3x telephoto with the same sensor. Color corrections and other photo optimizations from Hasselblad will also return.

There will be up to 1 TB of fast internal storage with UFS 4.0. A large 6000 mAh battery will be able to be charged wired with up to 100 W, or 50 W via wireless power delivery. On the Chinese market, the new phone will be unveiled with the latest operating system Android 15 and the ColorOS 15 user interface used by the parent company’s smartphones, including Oppo. The global version will follow with OxygenOS. You can also expect an improved vibration motor that delivers an even more premium haptic response. Finally, we’ll mention that the construction will come with increased water and dust resistance according to the certification IP68/69.
