The selection of classic electric mountain bikes from China is weaker, and they’re more focused on it by home or other European brands—but those are significantly more expensive. RANDRIDE YG90 comes as a very affordable alternative with classic 27.5 x 2.4″ tires and also a nice design!

Read our review
We definitely had to test the popular electric bike RANDRIDE YG90 , because there’s a lot of interest in it, but surprisingly few reviews. It arrived very quickly from the EU warehouse in black-red. Right out of the box, it was clear it’s not some cheap China product—there’s fairly solid workmanship and mid-range components used.
What we like most about this model is its design – it looks like a mountain bike, even though its internal tube is thicker because of the battery, it still feels sporty and fast—just the way a mountain bike should feel. It has a large color display, a Shimano chainring, and hydraulic brakes from the same brand, which did disappoint us a bit. We’ll break them down in more detail in the review, with an attempt to fine-tune them.
A pretty packed bundle
The advantage of this manufacturer is a rich bundle. With the bike you get a rear rack, fenders (we didn’t mount them), a helmet, glasses, a pump, a set of Allen keys, and a bike bag! Even though at first glance these are “cheap” items—especially the helmet and glasses—this kind of equipment is still a pleasant surprise and may come in handy for someone.
What surprised us the most was the power button on the lower edge of the frame, right where the battery is located. After unpacking the bike from the box, we got a bit scared for a moment that the bike wasn’t functional, but you just need to turn on the power button before turning on the display. After that, the bike worked properly.
First ride impressions
The bike is lively and it soaks up bumps really well. During the first rides we managed to reach over 40 km/h quickly without major issues. Of course, we’ll also test the range and what this piece can do on tougher terrain. In our opinion, this model is suitable for riders from 165 cm – 195 cm; the manufacturer’s official figure is 158 cm – 203 cm. Payload is 120 kg.
RANDRIDE YG90B offers great riding performance
The driving force of this e-bike is a 1000 W motor that gets you up to a speed of 45 km/h. So you’ll reach your destination faster and with less effort. The torque reaches 75 Nm. It’s powered by a 48 V 17 Ah battery, which should provide assistance over a distance of 70 to 90 kilometres.
If you want to just ride around on the bike without having to pedal, you can use the fully electric mode, which should provide a range of 40 km. The battery will charge in 7 to 9 hours. As for the construction, it’s made from a lightweight aluminum alloy.
The bike body doesn’t rust and is said to be very sturdy. RANDRIDE YG90B comes with CST tires sized 27.5 x 2.4 inches. They’re quite robust, so you don’t have to worry about taking this e-bike off-road. You’ll also like the adjustable suspension made from lightweight material. Absorbing bumps is a breeze for this machine.

The MicroNew shifter with 27 speeds will handle gear changing. With all those gears, you’ll be able to fully tailor the pedaling power to your needs—this is a big advantage.
A surprise in the box will be several gifts right away. You’ll get included sports sunglasses, a helmet, solar-charging lamps, a bike bag, a multi-purpose bike maintenance tool, fenders, and an inflatable pump. That’s already a pretty generous bundle, right? The bike itself weighs 26 kg and you can load it with up to 120 kg.

All due respect, even though it’s a great piece for the given price, and I have one at home—even the 2023 model with Chinese 27 MicroShift gears is still just a Chinese imitation. Who would want the original Randride under the name Forerunner with branded components—Samsung/LG battery up to as much as 23Ah!!! The range is brutal, around 125–130km in Eco mode!!! And the Japanese Shimano Altus 27-speed drivetrain is still an option. You can order this: but I’m warning you, prepare for a much bigger amount of money; of course, the offer also includes payment via protected PayPal, so there’s nothing to worry about. https://randridebikes.com/products/dual-suspension-electric-mountain-bike
Randride is a Chinese manufacturer, so it’ll always be a Chinese product. People think that China only makes junk—that’s a huge mistake. They’ll build for you exactly what you want. Check stores in the EU and try to find anything that wasn’t made in China—it’ll probably be 8 to 2.
Too bad they don’t sell that 2023 model anymore—it was a lot better, especially the derailleur, which had a higher-quality 27-speed setup instead of this Tourney 21-speed drivetrain garbage. What a shame.. But at least the price is much lower. Then it’ll be enough for many people—it's exactly the same as what the very well-known Duotts C29 has. The 2023 YG90 27-speed model (which I also have at home) sold on a coupon for about €1200–1250.
And now there’s something similar on AliExpress—if someone wants a full-suspension e-bike with 27 speeds, and with Shimano Altus, here’s the Heda TX19 in size 27.5 and 29", so whichever size suits you. It also has a battery up to 19Ah—honestly, top-tier. It should also come out to around €1200.
The manufacturer doesn’t state the frame size, same as other Chinese manufacturers. But it’s intended for heights from 158cm to 203cm according to the information on their official website.
You can buy the battery, for example, from the Foshan Vehicle Industry store on Alibaba—you just enter it in Alibaba’s search. They’re an official distributor of the Randride brand for the EU. I communicate with them regularly. They have a warehouse in Poland and they also supply spare parts, including the battery. However, starting now they ship it from Asia (in their EU warehouse in Poland they only have e-bikes, scooters, etc.). But they pay all the fees—you don’t have to pay anything. It’s door-to-door delivery. Delivery of the battery takes about 10–15 days.
This whole shop is weird. The goods declared by the ad offer one price, but the reality is different (higher). The performance parameters in the description are also completely different. They forget to inform you that Slovak legislation does not allow the official use of these machines on public roads (fines are possible). There’s no mention anywhere of service or spare parts, let alone customer protection.
You need to use the discount coupon we list in the article. You apply it in the shopping cart on Geekbuying, and then you’ll reach the price we state. We have several orders for this bike and so far everyone managed to apply the discount—so you must be doing something wrong. Geekbuying is a verified and reliable store that we’ve been working with for years. You’ll have to handle any fine yourself. The bike can ride up to 25 km/h, and outside official road traffic you can ride even faster.
Stop wasting money—on the contrary, this is an enormous added value for that price, top notch. There’s nothing better among fully suspended e-bikes and there won’t be for a long time! I ride it on the roads regularly at 30 or 35 km/h too—it’s an awesome e-bike. I wouldn’t swap it for anything in the world. I weigh around 100 kg and without any problems I can also do 100 km in eco mode, so even the range figures are really as stated! An awesome e-bike—maybe really the best-seller of 2023.
You can get spare parts from a big retailer and the manufacturer on Alibaba—you can find anything very easily. I communicate with them regularly—they deliver whatever parts I need. No fines are coming. The law applies to scooters; e-bikes have no restrictions, as far as I know.
Hi, could you please send me the contact for spare parts, or a catalog? I ordered a new bike and they scratched the 7th gear/cog on the bike. I need to order a new part. I tried to file a complaint, but there’s nowhere to send it… a Chinese e-shop… so it’s kind of virtual.
You’re the crap—this is the best fully suspended e-bike from China!!! I’ve had it at home and it hasn’t broken down even once, and I’ve had zero problems with it!!! Everywhere it has top reviews from owners/customers… so if you don’t know or don’t own it, please refrain from commenting—just let it be, hater.
Wow, what are you so upset about? I only shared my opinion, so please refrain from that stupid talk… I only trust verified brands—and I’d rather pay extra than buy that Chinese junk…
sam si kram a vravim ti zalez ked sa nevyznas! pysky si otvaraj na niekoho ineho.. a chod si kupovat overene znacky ak na to mas.. specialized celoodpruzeny ebike chod sa pozriet do predajne zacvakas ako za skodu fabiu ak na to vobec mas ty mamlas.. nech sa paci kvoli ebajku predaj polovicu domacnosti.. vela stastia..
And I’m not saying everything is basically the same—here you only pay for the brand... I’ve had an EVBike for 6 years, and it’s equipped with the basic Bafang 250W and a 42V/7 Ah battery… and to this day it works without any problems. The only thing I changed was the mechanical disc brakes for hydraulic ones—that was an investment of about €60……. And let everyone who hasn’t tried a Chinese e-bike at least keep quiet...

Pretty much.. I agree!

Hello, do you have the PDF manual in English for this scooter?
Please send it to [email protected]
Thanks
Where’s the motor? In the rear wheel hub?
Of course—where you can see it. In the rear hub.
I’m curious about the review, I’m just slightly surprised that Allegro can offer a better price.
You don’t know—check which battery they pair it with.
What’s the frame size, please? I’m 185cm tall.
The manufacturer doesn’t state the frame size, same as other Chinese manufacturers. But it’s intended for heights from 158cm to 203cm according to the information on their official website.
It’s fine for your height—ideally. I’m about 187cm and the size fits great.
I have a bike, but how and where can I buy a new battery and a front light…
You can buy the front light anywhere, for example on AliExpress. We only found the battery in the official store.

The coupon doesn’t take during checkout—could you please explain why? I’d like to buy it at the promo price if possible. Th
Good day, all our coupons are currently working in the article—try entering them according to the instructions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpv2Jdvnd2k.
I wouldn’t want this thing even for free… God, people—don’t buy these Chinese pieces of crap…
