Soundcore Motion Boom Plus: 80 W speaker with PartyCast 2.0
As a new addition, the Soundcore Motion Boom Plus speaker impresses with a pair of 30 W bass drivers, as well as a pair of 10 W tweeters. The resulting output is 80 W, and you also get the same titanium drivers as on the Motion Boom predecessor. That technology was already included in 2021.
This time, however, you also get the PartyCast 2.0 feature (a connection for more than a hundred speakers), along with a bigger battery. In the current generation, its capacity has increased to 13 400 mAh. Still, the higher power of the speaker itself comes with a trade-off in overall battery life per charge. While the predecessor offered 24 hours of battery life, for the new model it’s 20 hours per charge.
The advantage is, though, improved water and dust resistance — the manufacturer even states it with an IP 67 certification. The new Motion Boom Plus model is slightly heavier and has a total weight of 2.4 kg. The package also includes a strap for carrying around your waist or for hanging the speaker outdoors.
When it comes to connectivity, you get the latest standard named Bluetooth 5.3. It ensures fast and stable connection for a great audio experience. And the mentioned Soundcore PartyCast 2.0 feature can, when paired with selected speakers, synchronize music and lighting on the models that support it (Motion Boom Plus does not have lighting).

Yes, I use this speaker and it’s awesome. Best in its price range under 150 €. I recommend waiting until next month—it might come with a better coupon, because right now it costs 167 €.
well, that’s the official shop for Tribit for the EU—too bad, because the Soundcore eshop is also for the EU, the official Anker Soundcore eshop. Are there even any coupons from other sources for Tribit? For example, the Stormbox Blast is also on Amazon, and it has already appeared on AliExpress too, but the price there is still pretty high compared to the official eshop. https://www.aliexpress.com/af/tribit-stormbox-blast.html The only way would be to find some super coupon on Ali with about half off, to around 150—then it’s more worth it. I wouldn’t pay more for a boombox; after that the prices are basically at JBL level.
So for those 130 EUR, that 80W Anker Soundcore Motion Boom Plus looks like the top one. Then there’s also the 80W Xdobo Vibe Plus, which on Ali would come out to about 100 EUR +/-. Are there no coupons for those?
