The Chinese company Mobvoi introduced another smartwatch contender some time ago. The TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS model brings significant improvements over the original model. It runs the latest Wear OS, including support for Google Pay payments here, a color secondary display, and heart arrhythmia detection.

The design has remained almost identical
The TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS smartwatches are made of stainless steel in Shadow Black, which is sturdy and scratch-resistant. Design changes are hard to spot here. The only distinguishing feature is a slightly different design of the metal bezel around the display, and the side buttons also have a different design.
The AMOLED display has a 1.4-inch diagonal and a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels. Above it there is another FSTN display, which is monochrome. The new feature is a change in the backlight color of this display. There are up to 18 different colors to choose from.
The displays are protected by durable Corning Gorilla Glass. The watch also features military certification MIL Standard 810G and IP68. The strap has a standard width of 22 mm.
The processor remains the same
The watch is powered by the powerful Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor. There has been no progress in this regard. The processor is backed by 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of storage.
The TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS runs on Google’s advanced Wear OS operating system, which also gets the latest updates. Battery life with this advanced system is usually around one day, but the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS lasts up to 72 hours in smart mode.
In basic mode (essential mode), where only the monochrome display, time, steps, and similar info are used, the watch can last up to 45 days! You could use this option, for example, when camping or on a longer trip away from home.
Focus on health
New watch features include support for more than 20 professional training modes. Newly added sports modes include high-intensity interval training, football, table tennis, tennis, and basketball.
TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS can detect an irregular heartbeat. It alerts you when your heart is beating too fast, too slowly, or irregularly. It also added fatigue scoring, energy level detection together with blood oxygen level monitoring, stress monitoring, and sleep tracking.
In smart mode, the watch should last up to three days. If you turn on only the monochrome display and disable smart functions, the watch can last up to 45 days. NFC is also included, so you can use Google Pay payments even in Slovakia or the Czech Republic.

Hello. Did you get some official update on the Ticwatch Pro 2020, or did it start working automatically?
I'm interested in these watches, but foreign forums are full of posts about a defect that probably affects all units. The sensors stop working on the watches and the battery drains quickly, and the manufacturer has been playing dead for a year already.
By the way, there was an offer on the PRO 3 model here for 177 euros, which was a really great price. Too bad about the manufacturer's approach to claims.

There won't be any need to work around anything, Wear OS 3.0 officially offers Google Pay payments for SK/CZ as well.

Hello. We don't know which Wear OS version these watches have, and the manufacturer itself doesn't state it on its website either. However, if they don't already come with Wear OS 3.0 installed out of the box, they'll get an update later, because it has been announced for all Snapdragon Wear 4100 watches. We contacted the official seller; we'll see if we get a reply.
Why buy through Ali when the manufacturer offers them directly on its website with delivery to Slovakia.
You need to wait a little and on Ali the price will be much better than from the official seller.
