Immersive 3D surround sound and powerful bass
The Ultimea Poseidon D60 is an immersive 5.1 audio system that consists of a main sound unit, a subwoofer, and a pair of smaller speakers designed to be placed around the room. Thanks to the innovative sound technology integration Dolby Atmos, it enables sound circulation around you—creating the feeling that you’re right in the middle of the action. Basically, it’s a small home cinema.
For lovers of deep and powerful bass tones, the Ultimea Poseidon D60 is an ideal choice. This soundbar includes a subwoofer that delivers powerful bass, so you can enjoy it not only when watching action scenes, but also when listening to music across different genres. The device’s sound profile is balanced to provide the best audio experience for various content.
Remote control, Bluetooth 5.3, and wired connection
Great news: the box also includes a remote control, letting you adjust the volume and control all functions right from the comfort of your couch.

It even has wireless Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, so you can play audio directly from your smartphone. That means it also works as a powerful wireless speaker.
Of course, it also doesn’t forget about wired connectivity, which the soundbar definitely won’t be ashamed of. It offers various ways to connect for audio transmission, so on the back you’ll find a modern HDMI eARC-2.1 port, AUX, or an optical connection. There’s also a standard USB port for playing from flash drives.
We personally tested the Ultimea Poseidon D60 soundbar
Let’s start with the packaging in brief, which is truly packed with accessories. Besides the soundbar, subwoofer, and two surround rear speakers, you’ll find several cables and additional accessories.
Specifically, it’s an HDMI cable (eARC), an optical cable, power cables for the soundbar and subwoofer, as well as RCA audio cables to connect the subwoofer to the surround speakers.
Next, you’ll also find a clear manual in English, a remote control without batteries, and mounting brackets with screws and wall plugs to install the soundbar on the wall.
Dimensions and setup of the 5.1 system
The Ultimea Poseidon D60 audio system is very compact in terms of size. The soundbar belongs to the smaller ones—it measures only 40 x 7 x 9 cm, the subwoofer is 15.5 x 24.4 x 21.5 cm, and both surround speakers are 13.5 x 7 x 9 cm.
In the manufacturer’s photos, the system looks genuinely great and modern. However, we usually won’t find cables there, which—so to speak—ruin the overall impression, especially if you want to place the surround speakers at the back rather than near the TV. The connection between the soundbar and the subwoofer is wireless only.
Besides the power cables that the subwoofer and soundbar need, we also have to connect the surround speakers to the subwoofer with cables. The box includes sufficiently long cables, but you can’t hide them perfectly so they don’t get in the way in every living room.
Sound quality and types of speakers
The manufacturer is rather stingy with the specs for the speakers, so we only have limited parameters available.
Inside the soundbar there are three 2.25" speakers. Each surround speaker also has one 2.25" speaker, while the subwoofer measures 5.25". So you get 5.1-channel surround sound with a frequency range of 40 Hz – 18 kHz. The maximum sound intensity level is 103 dB.
Let’s get to the most important information, though: the quality of this audio setup. The sound is exceptionally clear, and the highs are especially prominent. The mids slightly fade away, and the bass is more on the average side—not too strong, but not completely weak either.
We enjoyed the Ultimea Poseidon D60 speaker system most of all when watching movies. With a good movie and proper speaker placement, the surround sound is really strong, and the movie-watching experience takes it to a whole new level.
However, it didn’t work out for us too well for listening to music. The overall balance isn’t really built for music listening. We missed more pronounced mids and fuller bass, especially at lower volumes. Even a music equalizer didn’t really save it.
Sound customization
The Soundbar Ultimea Poseidon D60 also offers several sound settings. However, they’re fairly limited, so don’t expect any advanced options.
We have a set of three equalizers available. The first one emphasizes treble the most, while the other two give the bass more room.
You can also adjust the bass level and the surround effect. With both, though, you only get three options: -1, 0, and 1. So the scale is very short, and the differences are noticeable mainly at higher volumes.
Remote control
The Ultimea soundbar comes with a separate remote control. It feels good in your hand, and the button response is equally good.
With it, you can adjust the volume, switch between inputs, or fine-tune the equalizer, bass, and the surround effect.
Connection options
We have several ways to connect the soundbar. One option is HDMI with ARC support; you also get optical, USB, and last but not least, older AV.
Wireless connectivity is covered by Bluetooth 5.3. Between these inputs, you can quickly and easily switch using the remote control or directly on the soundbar.
The selected options are then shown on a small display on the front of the soundbar.
