An e-bike with front and rear suspension, Shimano shifting, and a battery hidden in the frame—less than €500 isn’t something you see every day. Aairsk GT900 is the younger and cheaper sibling of Aairsk XT90: it has a smaller battery, but the equipment is noticeably similar. It’s mainly for those who want one bike for commuting to work and for weekend rides on forest roads, without paying thousands of euros for it.

You probably won’t even believe the price of €450

You can find the Aairsk GT900 e-bike at the trusted seller MAIRIDE E-Bike Store, which has 94% positive ratings on AliExpress. It’s located directly in a German warehouse, meaning delivery in roughly a week and with no additional charges—VAT is already included in the price, and customs duty doesn’t apply. Shipping is free. Don’t forget to use the coupon from the price box as well—it will take another €60 off the price.

Are you shopping on AliExpress for the first time?

The process is via the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. There are two key things: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary, in the field Promo code. After you click Pay now, you won’t be able to add it.

  1. Copy the code and click Use discountIn our article, copy the coupon and click the button GET DISCOUNT. The link will take you directly to the product in the AliExpress app.
  2. Use Add to cart instead of Buy nowOn the product card, scroll down and tap Add to cart. Don’t use the Buy now button—you’ll skip the cart, and later you won’t have anywhere to enter the coupon. Before that, double-check the variant: the color, the version, and whether it ships from an EU warehouse.
  3. Through the cart, go to CheckoutA pop-up will appear: Added to cart! — tap Check it out in it. If it disappeared, open the cart with the icon at the bottom right. In the cart, check the product and quantity, then click the red Checkout. Only the items marked with the red ring will be applied.
  4. Enter your address and card, then look for Promo codeIn the order summary, first fill in the delivery address and payment card at the top. Below them there’s a line Promo code — expand it with the arrow on the right.
Riadok Promo code v zhrnutí objednávky v aplikácii AliExpress
Look for this line under the address and payment method.
  5. Paste the code and confirm ApplyIn the field Promo code paste the copied code and click the black Apply. The code is case-sensitive and must not contain spaces.
Políčko Promo code s kódom a tlačidlom Apply v aplikácii AliExpress
Paste the code into the field and confirm with the Apply button.
  6. Check the savings and payIn the Summary expand the line Saved — you’ll see the applied coupon there as AliExpress coupons/codes. Only when Total is really lower, click Pay now.
Riadok Saved s uplatneným kupónom a znížený Total v aplikácii AliExpress
The applied coupon will appear in the Saved line and will reduce the Total.
Apply the discount already at the order summary. After you click Pay now, you can no longer add a coupon. If Apply shows an error, the code has either expired, doesn’t apply to your items, or the order doesn’t meet the minimum amount.
The Store Coupon also goes in the same field. — a coupon from the seller itself, which isn’t always available and changes from day to day. AliExpress coupons can’t be combined, so try both and go with the one that gives you more. Coins are added automatically.

A 45 N·m motor and the legal limit of 25 km/h

In the rear hub there’s a brushless motor with a rated output of 250 W, i.e., exactly as much as an e-bike with pedal assist is allowed to have in Europe. The torque of 45 N·m isn’t record-breaking, but for city traffic and gentle hills it’s more than enough. The manufacturer claims it can handle climbs up to 20 degrees and a maximum assisted speed of 25 km/h.

The 21-speed Shimano drivetrain handles the shifting, so on steeper sections you can rely on the easier gears and on flat roads you don’t need to pedal unnecessarily fast. Just keep in mind when choosing that it’s a hub motor—not a mid-drive motor with a torque sensor like on pricier mountain e-bikes. That’s why the motor support kicks in less smoothly, and the GT900 isn’t meant for demanding off-road terrain.

Removable 468 Wh battery in the frame

The 36 V battery with 13 Ah capacity—that is, 468 Wh—is integrated into the slanted frame tube. It’s removable and swappable, but watch out for one detail: according to the seller’s graphics, you can’t charge the battery while it’s removed from the bike. If you park the bike in a basement without an outlet, don’t count on charging it in your apartment. The battery is protected by a BMS system.

Take range figures with a grain of salt. On the manufacturer’s own graphics they state a real 30–40 km, while the offer parameters list a range from 31 to 60 km. The upper limit applies to the lowest assist level, on flat terrain, and with a lighter rider. If you want more, the sister XT90 has a battery with almost 960 Wh capacity—but it also costs more.

NFC card unlocking and an LCD display

A highlight in this price range is unlocking without a key. Just hold an NFC card to the display and the bike turns on—then with the same motion you lock it again. There’s an LCD display on the handlebars showing speed, assist level, and battery status, plus a front light with a horn.

In the seller’s images, there’s also a thumb-controlled throttle on the handlebar. Keep in mind that a bike with a throttle that lets it go faster than 6 km/h without pedaling no longer meets the EU definition of a normal pedal-assist bicycle. Before your first ride, check how it’s set up, or ask the seller for details.

Front and rear suspension and 26″ Kenda tires

The Aairsk GT900 features a front suspension fork with hydraulic lockout and a rear spring shock. On asphalt, you can lock the fork so it doesn’t bounce unnecessarily; on dirt or forest paths, you unlock it so it can smooth out bumps. The bike comes with 26-inch Kenda tires with a more aggressive tread, and it’s stopped by mechanical disc brakes both front and rear.

The bike weighs 26 kg, which is a typical figure for an e-bike with suspension, but you’ll be carrying it up and down stairs reluctantly. Payload is 150 kg, and the manufacturer recommends riders with heights from 156 to 185 cm. The offer rating is currently 4.4 out of 5, but it’s based on just seven reviews, so it’s still too early for clear conclusions.
