The electric e-scooter Kukirin G2 appeared on the market out of nowhere and surprised a lot of us! Given its specs like an 800 W motor and a decent range of up to 55 km, it’s priced truly within reach—well below €500. On top of that, it features a great-looking design and looks like its more expensive sibling, KuKirin G2 Master.

Kukirin G2: Affordable 800 W e-scooter with speeds up to 45 km/h

The electric e-scooter Kukirin G2 features a robust build in a matte black–orange combination. Its dimensions are 125.8 x 66 x 126 cm (in unfolded mode) or 125.8 x 66 x 54 cm (folded). The full scooter weighs 26 kg and also offers enhanced resistance to water and dust, with IP 54 certification.

An 800 W electric motor handles the scooter’s power, delivering a maximum speed of up to 45 km/h. There are multiple riding modes, including a sport mode, as well as an “eco” mode with the best battery life. The maximum rider weight for this scooter is 120 kg.

LED lighting, 15 Ah and 55 km per charge

The package includes an LCD display and front and rear LED lighting. The scooter has front and rear mechanical disc brakes, complemented by an E-ABS function. As for climbing ability, the G2 model can handle inclines up to a 20° angle.

The integrated battery has a capacity of 48 V / 15 Ah. Its range per charge is up to 55 kilometers, depending on the riding mode. Recharging with the included charger takes about 8–9 hours.

In the box you’ll find the e-scooter Kukirin G2 itself, along with a charger with a local power plug (EU Plug, 220–240 V / 50–60 Hz). Another advantage is the large set of accessories, including a removable rear fender, a set of screws, a set of tools to mount the scooter, and a brief user manual in English.

Currently, the Angwatt F1 at this price is a better choice, in my opinion—nothing against Kukirin 😉 For the same money, you get better value: 200 W higher power, 18 Ah on the Angwatt vs 15 Ah on the G2. So also a better overall range—so there’s no comparison. Clearly, Angwatt wins.

I bought the e-scooter in September, and for €442 of that, about €12 was an pointless payment insurance that only works for payments via PayPal…
I’m about 170CM and 68KG. On flat ground the scooter reached speeds just fine—sometimes I even managed 55km/h on the speedometer.
But apparently it had some issue, or the specs were just incorrectly stated. It claims it can climb up to a 20° incline, but I couldn’t climb a hill with over 12°. So I requested a return/warranty, and after about a month they sent me a new motor, which didn’t help… and then there were endless conversations about a refund. At first they said they would give me a full refund, but after some time they tried to cut it in half, even though I had already sent the scooter back… Of course I didn’t agree, and after further follow-ups they eventually refunded the full amount.
I’m not sure whether the problem was with the scooter or with the stated parameters, but if it can climb a hill with someone who’s at least a 15° incline, not a 15% one—then let me know 😀

Besides this unpleasant issue, the scooter was quite comfortable, except that it had to be broken in quite quickly on the suspension. I definitely recommend lubricating the moving parts.

It looks like the coupon for 15.11. 24 expired earlier than it started.

Hi,
I can see that the dates are still being moved. Does anyone have any information on whether the repair will be shipped on the announced date 14–19.8.? I wouldn’t like to place an order and then experience moving the shipping date for several months. If confirmed, I would place the order today as well.

Thanks

How did you get that price? With my coupon, I’m getting €444 without insurance on delivery.

It’s stated in the article – You can reduce the final price on Banggood by using two discounts at once: the coupon you’ll find in our price box below, and also a special 10 USD “allowance” coupon. You can get it on this page.

Do you think Geekbuying will really start shipping from 14.8.? Or will they push it back again, because I have the impression they’re just postponing…

And do you know when they will probably be sending the e-scooter, since it’s a pre-order?

Frederik Admin · 27. June 2024

They should be sending it within two days.

What’s the difference between this one and the Kugoo K2 Pro version? The price is the same.

You can compare the specs on the seller’s page, or on our website. It has a completely different design, different construction (the one on the G2 looks better), 800W vs 600W… Just read it through. 🙂

Yeah, I could have found that out myself as well, but this way, directly from you, it was easier for me 🙂
But thanks
