KuKirin G2 Pro (DGT) is coming to Europe in a certified version, but it still keeps its robust build with a metal frame and improved resistance to water and dust, including IP 54 certification, plus quality front-wheel suspension shaped like the letter “V”.
The dimensions of this electric scooter are capped at 1170 x 590 x 1300 mm (fully unfolded). However, you can also use the folding storage option, which you’ll especially appreciate when carrying it, for example in a car trunk. Folded size is 1170 x 590 x 512 mm. The scooter’s weight is just 22.3 kg, so it meets the EU standard limit of 25 kg.
The 500 W electric motor takes care of the performance, delivering a max speed of up to 25 km/h. It has a 22 Nm torque and power is sent to the rear pneumatic tire.
You get multiple riding modes, including a battery-saving mode, and the controls are easy to use thanks to physical buttons on the handlebars.
9″ tires, 15.6 Ah battery, and a range of up to 65 kilometres
The scooter can handle inclines of up to a 19-degree angle. It also has front and rear brake lights, dual disc brakes, and 9″ tires designed for better puncture resistance. The max rider load is then 120 kilograms.
The integrated battery offers a capacity of 48 V / 15.6 Ah, which translates to a range on a single charge of up to 65 kilometres. Charging to full capacity takes about 7 – 8 hours.
In the retail package, you’ll find the electric scooter itself KuKirin G2 Pro (DGT), as well as original accessories. 9-inch tires are way too small—under 10, I would not ride under any circumstances. It’s very dangerous already on small bumps and at higher speeds (and even the legal 25 km/h and above can be enough to catch an obstacle you didn’t expect) ... sorry, even with the 10 size it’s right on the edge. And the 500W single motor is just right for a max 80 kg guy 🙂 it won’t pull a heavier rider up steeper hills—yes, even 80 kg will be a bit of a problem.
