A tracked mini excavator from AliExpress isn’t new, but until now it almost always had one trick: the page showed an attractive amount that was actually only a deposit, with thousands of euros added on top for sea shipping, customs duty, and VAT. MMS MS10H mini excavator with a cabin is different. It ships directly from the warehouse in Germany, and the price on AliExpress is the full price for the entire machine, with delivery to Slovakia already included. No deposit, no customs duty, no surprises when you receive it.

MMS MS10H mini excavator with cabin
TIPExpress delivery from a German warehouse without customs duty and VAT.
This product will be delivered to you express from a local German warehouse. Shipping from Germany usually takes 7–10 days, and delivery is handled by a courier. When it arrives, you won’t pay any extra fees—no customs duty or VAT.
Why is this offer different from typical mini excavators from China?
Last year we checked the final price of the Toros mini excavator for you directly with the Chinese seller. On the page it was about €1,100, but that was only the deposit. The machine itself cost €2,330, and shipping, customs duty, VAT, and delivery to your doorstep added another €1,970. The final total climbed to €4,300, and the machine had to be waited for for weeks.
With the MMS MS10H, all of that hassle is gone. The machine is already in the European Union, so you don’t pay any extra customs duty or VAT and the amount in the price box is what you actually pay. For less than €6,000, you get a unit mini excavator with an enclosed cabin—equipment you usually have to pay extra for with Chinese machines. Branded unit mini excavators from European manufacturers are typically much more expensive.
An enclosed cabin that can be removed
The biggest attraction of this model is the enclosed glazed cabin. It protects you from rain, wind, and dust, includes a windshield wiper, ceiling lights, and two work lights on the roof. When working in autumn or early in the morning, you’ll appreciate it more than you’d expect—because with cheaper mini excavators you sit completely outside or only under a small canopy.
The cabin is also removable. Once you loosen the bolts, you can remove it and the excavator becomes smaller—handy when working in tight spaces or for transport. It’s controlled with a joystick, so if you’ve ever sat in an excavator before, you’ll get the hang of it quickly.
Bucket, thumb, and undercarriage for narrow spaces
At the front there is a bucket that you raise or lower with hydraulics. It’s used for backfilling the trench and leveling the ground, and when you press it against the ground, it stabilizes the excavator while digging. With the bucket, there’s also a thumb to hold stones, roots, and branches—things you’d have a hard time handling with only the bucket.
The machine runs on rubber tracks with a width of 180 mm, which protect your lawn and paving more than steel tracks. The undercarriage is 896 mm wide and the entire machine is 930 mm according to the manufacturer, so it will fit even where a large excavator can’t—for example, in the garden behind the house. It travels at 1.5 km/h and can climb slopes up to 30°.
13.5 kW engine and 1.75 m digging depth
At an operating weight of 1,000 kg, this is a typical 1-ton mini excavator for attachments like hookups, drainage, fence foundations, ponds, or even swimming pools. According to the manufacturer’s table, it digs to a depth of 1.75 m, the digging height is 2.61 m, and the material is discharged up to 1.85 m—so it can even be loaded onto a small truck or into a container. The bucket has a width of 380 mm and a volume of 0.025 m³.
It’s powered by a single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with 13.5 hp (9.5 kW). But watch out: in the offer title the seller mentions a diesel engine KOOP, and one of the photos shows a diesel engine, while the infographic with specs features a gasoline RATO R420. Both versions have the same power, consumption, and maintenance requirements, but they differ in engine type—so check the engine type with the seller via chat before you place an order.
What to watch out for when ordering
The listing on AliExpress is brand new and the seller has only sold a few units so far, so you won’t find customer reviews yet. The MMS brand, however, sells mini excavators through its own web shop and on Amazon in the USA, and it provides the machine with 1-year warranty. Since you file a claim through AliExpress and the seller has a warehouse in Germany, any resolution is easier than for a machine shipped from China.
Also keep in mind that a one-cylinder machine won’t be delivered by the courier into your living room. Before ordering, ask the seller how unloading works, and prepare a spot where a heavy truck can stop. Also factor in that you’ll need a trailer with sufficient load capacity to transport the machine between your properties.
