The YUME SWIFT stands out with multiple features
The YUME brand with its SWIFT model brings a breath of fresh air to the electric scooter category in the price range around €1000. The scooter is made from an aluminum alloy. The construction’s increased durability is backed by the IP54 certification. Weight reaches 27 kg, or 29 kg after adding the seat. This machine has a maximum load capacity of 126 kg. You’ll also like the folding option – the scooter is 119 cm long and 135 cm tall, but once folded it’s only 57 cm high.
YUME SWIFT comes with 10 x 3.75-inch tubeless tires that let you ride smoothly on asphalt paths and roads. The tire itself is also very resistant to wear. You’ll be able to stop with hydraulic 140 mm disc brakes with a passive cooling mechanism.
There’s also an electronic braking system with a faster response for shorter braking distances and better heat-loss dissipation. Suspension is handled by a pair of 140 mm springs for the front tire, and at the rear there’s a single 130 mm hydraulic shock absorber.
YUME SWIFT is equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 1200 W. This allows a top speed of about 50 km/h (32 mph). It includes a built-in 48 V 22.5 Ah Li-Ion battery, designed to provide a range of roughly 60 km when riding at a constant 30 km/h. These are manufacturer test figures and real results may vary slightly.
At the front, there’s an LED light for night rides. You also get turn signals, a brake light, and even a horn. On the handlebars there’s a color LCD display that shows your current speed, the selected riding mode, the battery level, and the distance traveled.
You can see not only your total mileage, but also the figures for your current trip. Since we’ve mentioned riding modes, you can choose from “Eco”, “Drive”, and “Sport”. The scooter can also be controlled and monitored via the YUME Ride mobile app, available for both Android devices and iOS models.
In the app, you’ll see ride data, and it lets you lock and unlock the scooter remotely from your smartphone. YUME SWIFT comes with the option of NFC locks. These two NFC chips are included in the selling package.
