Baofeng BF UV-10R: A radio supporting UHF/VHF bands
The Baofeng BF UV-10R two-way radios feature a compact body made from matte black plastic materials, complemented with rubberized parts for a firm grip. The radio’s range is 10 to 50 kilometers depending on obstacles.
The buttons are rubberized as well—they’re large enough for precise tuning of frequencies and transmission modes. The radio dimensions (without the antenna) are 108 x 50 x 30 millimeters (+ 142 mm detachable antenna).
The radio offers switching between professional UHF/VHF bands and supports frequencies from 136 – 174 / 400 – 520 MHz. These bands are used, for example, by the military, the police, and other emergency services.

The radio also lets you adjust the channel width (2.5 / 5 / 6.25 / 10 / 12.5 / 25 kHz). There’s also an emergency alarm and a power-saving function. Baofeng BF UV-10R will alert you to low battery status, and you can set a timer as well. With the included cable, you can charge the radio via the USB-A connector, but that cable needs to be purchased separately.
In the retail package for this product, you’ll find the radio itself from the Baofeng brand, along with numerous original accessories from the manufacturer. This includes a detachable antenna, a carrying clip, a battery, a lanyard for grip, a charging cradle, and a charger tip (a wall power adapter will be provided according to your order location).
