Are you shopping on AliExpress for the first time?

The process is via the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. There are two key things: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary, in the field Promo code. After you click Pay now, you won’t be able to add it.

  1. Copy the code and click Use discountIn our article, copy the coupon and click the button GET DISCOUNT. The link will take you directly to the product in the AliExpress app.
  2. Use Add to cart instead of Buy nowOn the product card, scroll down and tap Add to cart. Don’t use the Buy now button—you’ll skip the cart, and later you won’t have anywhere to enter the coupon. Before that, double-check the variant: the color, the version, and whether it ships from an EU warehouse.
  3. Through the cart, go to CheckoutA pop-up will appear: Added to cart! — tap Check it out in it. If it disappeared, open the cart with the icon at the bottom right. In the cart, check the product and quantity, then click the red Checkout. Only the items marked with the red ring will be applied.
  4. Enter your address and card, then look for Promo codeIn the order summary, first fill in the delivery address and payment card at the top. Below them there’s a line Promo code — expand it with the arrow on the right.
Riadok Promo code v zhrnutí objednávky v aplikácii AliExpress
Look for this line under the address and payment method.
  5. Paste the code and confirm ApplyIn the field Promo code paste the copied code and click the black Apply. The code is case-sensitive and must not contain spaces.
Políčko Promo code s kódom a tlačidlom Apply v aplikácii AliExpress
Paste the code into the field and confirm with the Apply button.
  6. Check the savings and payIn the Summary expand the line Saved — you’ll see the applied coupon there as AliExpress coupons/codes. Only when Total is really lower, click Pay now.
Riadok Saved s uplatneným kupónom a znížený Total v aplikácii AliExpress
The applied coupon will appear in the Saved line and will reduce the Total.
Apply the discount already at the order summary. After you click Pay now, you can no longer add a coupon. If Apply shows an error, the code has either expired, doesn’t apply to your items, or the order doesn’t meet the minimum amount.
The Store Coupon also goes in the same field. — a coupon from the seller itself, which isn’t always available and changes from day to day. AliExpress coupons can’t be combined, so try both and go with the one that gives you more. Coins are added automatically.

This model is extremely popular also among our readers, and on the platform you’ll find lots of reviews—including from Slovaks. With an overall rating of 4.4 stars out of five, it’s a clear sign that this is a product that delivers for its price. Of course, it’s not a top-tier scooter, but a machine that gets you quickly from point A to point B over short distances.

Motor with 350 W power and speeds up to 25 km/h

The heart of the electric scooter Mankeel MK083 is a brushless electric motor with 350 W power. It provides enough performance for comfortable rides around the city and can handle even moderate inclines with a maximum gradient of about 15°. For city use, this is a very reasonable compromise between power and energy consumption.

The scooter’s maximum speed is normally limited to 25 km/h, which complies with the legislation in most European countries. After unlocking the limit, it can reach speeds of up to approximately 30 km/h. The manufacturer has also implemented three riding modes, letting you tailor the performance to the current situation or your preferred riding style.

36 V battery with a range up to 30 km

Power for the ride comes from a lithium battery with a capacity of 36 V / 10.4 Ah (or 7.8 Ah). Under ideal conditions, the Mankeel MK083 can cover roughly 25 to 30 kilometers on a single charge, which should be enough for most everyday city commutes.

Charging takes about 4 to 6 hours, so you can easily top up the scooter—for example during the workday or overnight. The battery also includes a BMS protection system to safeguard against overcharging, excessive discharging, and short circuits.

Foldable design and low weight

A big advantage of the Mankeel MK083 model is its folding construction. You can fold the scooter in just a few seconds, making it much easier to carry or store. After folding, the dimensions are approximately 1054 × 436 × 480 mm, so it can fit, for example, in a car trunk or under a desk.

While riding, you get stability thanks to the 8.5-inch honeycomb tires, which are tubeless and puncture-resistant. The benefit is minimal maintenance, since these tires don’t require inflation and are suitable for everyday city use.

Safety and practical features

Safety is ensured by a combined braking system consisting of a electric brake and a rear disc brake. This solution allows reliable stopping even at higher speeds. The scooter’s maximum load is up to 120 kilograms, so it’s suitable for most adult users.

On the handlebars, there’s a simple LED display showing the current speed, battery status, or the selected riding mode. You can also connect the scooter to a smartphone app, which lets you track ride data and settings.

So my Mankeel MK083 scooter lasted 4 months and I rode it 300 km to the train and to work. Unfortunately, one day after charging and riding to the station (about 1 km uphill), it died at once on the incline. It beeped, showed a red P on the display, and then it never responded again. After measuring it, the battery was 28V, which means one of the cells failed. It’s the 10.4Ah version. A refurb is basically the whole scooter. The seller doesn’t communicate. I’m trying to resolve it with AliExpress… 🙁 what a shame—I was happy with it.

Update: After trying to file a warranty claim for the scooter and communicating with AliExpress, I gave up. They demanded either an eco-protocol, disposal, or sending it by post to an address in Germany. I didn’t want to deal with that anymore, so I found a service and at my own expense had it checked to see whether it’s worth repairing. Apparently, several welds on the cells were cracked (this often happens on scooters with solid wheels and without suspension), which my battery measurement also confirmed—instead of 36V, it was only 28V. After charging again at the service, I’m riding once more. The service cost was 30 EUR.

The company that sells it are just plain liars. I paid for a scooter with a 10Ah battery and they sent me a scooter with a 7.8Ah battery. When I asked them to replace the scooter, they refused. I didn’t want just a scooter replaced with one that’s not what I paid for. The 10Ah scooter I paid for managed a pathetic 8 km on flat ground! Only when I confronted them with evidence of fraud and threatened to report it to the police did they reluctantly return part of the money I paid. I’m still handling the rest of the refund through legal representation in cooperation with a consumer protection organization. AliExpress also got into conflict with this company, so due to AliExpress pushing, they refunded part of the money as well. AliExpress received, just a few days ago, several million euros in fines for messing with customers—so they took action against this company, but they still keep letting them sell a scooter that, with their most expensive battery, will supposedly go 20–30 km, but in reality it barely did only 8 km. Laughable—only 8 kilometers.

If you’re going uphill non-stop, then yes. With mine, I got a maximum of 22 km (on flat) on a single charge with a rider weight of 80 kg.
