The biggest advantage of the HillMiles Mile 2 model is its folding frame design. After folding, it measures approximately 90 × 50 × 81 cm, so it can be easily fit into a car trunk, a basement, or a smaller apartment without major hassle. Thanks to this, it can be an ideal solution for people living in panel buildings or for those who want to combine the bike with traveling by car.

The frame feels solid and robust, and the manufacturer also thought about practical details. There’s a rear rack with a load capacity of up to 15 kg, fenders, and LED lighting for safer evening rides. The bike’s weight is around 30 kg, so it’s not an ultralight model—but for electric bikes with fat tires, that’s a fairly standard figure.

250 W motor and 38 Nm torque

Power comes from a 250 W rear electric motor with a maximum torque of 38 Nm. On paper, it’s not an extremely powerful motor, but for city commuting and everyday hills it should be more than enough. The manufacturer lists a top speed of 25 km/h, which is also the limit for legal use in many European countries.

One interesting piece of information is that the software speed limit can be deactivated. That way, the rider can adjust the bike to their own preferences. HillMiles also falls under the ENGWE brand, which is fairly well-known and popular among electric bike users.

36 V 13 Ah battery and up to 100 km range

The biggest attraction of the HillMiles Mile 2 model is its battery with a capacity of 36 V / 13 Ah. The manufacturer states a maximum range of up to 100 km in PAS pedal-assist mode. Of course, the real result will depend on rider weight, terrain, weather, and the intensity of assistance.

In a purely electric mode without pedaling, the bike should handle around 45 km. For everyday commuting to work or school, that means the range will be more than sufficient. The battery is also removable, making it easier to charge directly in your apartment or office.

Wide tires handle the city and easier terrain

HillMiles Mile 2 uses wide 20 × 3.0-inch fat tires. They provide better stability, comfort, and a more secure contact with the surface. The manufacturer presents them as suitable for asphalt, gravel, grass, and sand. While the bike isn’t designed for aggressive mountain terrain, unpaved roads and cycle paths should be handled without major problems.

Better comfort is also helped by the suspension front fork. Combined with wider tires, the bike can effectively smooth out bumps on city roads and even on cobblestones. As a result, the ride feels more comfortable on longer routes too.

Hydraulic brakes and complete equipment

The manufacturer didn’t forget about safety either. The HillMiles Mile 2 comes with hydraulic disc brakes, designed to deliver stronger braking performance compared to cheaper mechanical solutions. For e-bikes, this is a very welcome feature—especially for a higher bike weight.
