We’ve been riding the Kaabo Wolf King GT for a few months now
We got the Kaabo Wolf King GT into our editorial office as well, and after a few months of riding the weaker King+ model, we decided to order the more powerful Wolf King GT version. We also ordered via DHgate, but at that time the scooter wasn’t available in European stock yet, so our purchase went through the Chinese warehouse.
We had to wait a little over a month for delivery. Now you have the chance to order it directly from Europe with express delivery and enjoy the current season even more.
We’ve owned the Kaabo Wolf King GT for 7 months, and during that time we managed to put in a little under 700 km. Riding this scooter is, honestly, an incredible experience—and even after all these kilometers, we still enjoy every ride like it’s the first time.
With the performance of up to 8400 W in peak, you definitely won’t get bored. Whenever you press the throttle lever, the scooter shoots forward literally like a rocket. We have the version with road tires, and the suspension is a bit firmer than on the off-road version, so the scooter stays on the road as well as possible.
We also appreciate the big 35 Ah battery (2520 Wh) built from quality LG cells, so you can be sure it will have a long service life. For the Wolf GT version, 2 x 1.5A chargers are included in the box—and charging with both takes about 11 hours. If you prefer fast charging, there’s also a 4A adapter, but the price is higher.
As for the real range, on a single charge we managed to ride about 70 km so far, with roughly 20% battery capacity still left. With a calmer ride, you could definitely get an even better result. Rider weight was about 90 kg.
The biggest difference vs the King+ model here is the Sinewave controllers, which distribute power to the throttle much more smoothly—also, the throttle lever is much gentler. It’s placed under your thumb, which we find more comfortable than on the King+, where the lever is on the index finger. The GT also has wider handlebars and a deck, which contributes to an even more stable and comfortable ride.
We also can’t forget the absolutely amazing TFT display, which is beautifully visible even in strong summer sunlight. We haven’t seen such a clear display on any other scooter yet, and we also own the Nami Burn E 2 Max.
In addition to speed, the display shows other useful information, such as motor and controller temperature, trip data, or total kilometers ridden. It also includes plenty of settings, so you can fine-tune the scooter perfectly to your needs.
If we had to choose again, we’d definitely go for the Kaabo Wolf King GT once more—it has more upgrades compared to the King+ than you might think.
Kaboo Wolf King+
As our first scooter, we’ll picture the Kaaboo Wolf King+. Compared to the GT model, it has some differences, but most of the equipment is more or less the same. First of all, you can highlight the massive aluminum frame that also looks truly luxurious. Its durability definitely doesn’t disappoint. According to the manufacturer, the scooter’s maximum load is 150 kg, but this machine can handle far more than that.
On the front and rear wheel, there is a Zoom hydraulic disc brake, which together with the electronic one ensures efficient and effective braking even in emergency situations. Both scooters are equipped with 11″ tubeless tires, and when purchasing, you can choose between off-road or road tires.
Front hydraulic dampers together with a rear spring suspension take care of a smooth ride. Many reviewers around the world have described this e-scooter as a very comfortable, fast, and highly reliable machine.
Unbelievable speed
Since we already mentioned speed in the previous section, we can continue talking about it here. There’s a motor in both the rear and front wheels with a power of 1500 W, which gives a total power of 3000 W. However, this power is rated, while peak power reaches an impressive 6720 W.
The scooter’s maximum speed in the fastest mode approaches the 100 km/h mark. Many of us can’t even imagine riding that fast on a scooter, but many reviewers—us included—can genuinely call this scooter safe even at high speeds.
Battery for long rides
The Kaabo Wolf King+ electric scooter comes from the factory with a battery pack rated at 28 Ah and 72 V (2016 Wh). The cells used in this battery are, as we’d expect from a branded e-scooter manufacturer, from LG / Samsung.
The maximum range per single charge claimed by the manufacturer is an incredible 150 kilometers. That figure was measured with a 75 kg rider at 25 km/h on a flat road, with no elevation changes or hills. In real riding, the range will be a bit lower, but either way, you’re looking at a great number.
The scooter’s control and settings are handled on a clear, easy-to-read Minimotors EY3 display. The setup also includes powerful front and rear lights, along with a warning horn.
Kaboo Wolf King GT
In the next few lines, we’ll summarize the biggest differences between the Kaabo Wolf King+ and Kaabo Wolf King GT. As the name suggests, the GT model comes with an even better set of features.
As for performance, the Wolf King GT is equipped with two motors with a total power of 4000 W (2 * 2000 W), while the maximum possible peak power is a breathtaking 8400 W. The maximum speed is over 100 km/h.
The Wolf King GT has also been upgraded in terms of its—already excellent—range. The battery capacity from Samsung or LG has been increased to 35 Ah, which, according to the manufacturer, provides a range of up to 180 kilometers per charge. The manufacturer measured this with a 75 kg rider on a flat surface at a constant speed of 25 km/h. Thanks to the bigger battery, the scooter’s weight has also increased to 52 kilograms.
There’s also a difference in the display used. The Wolf King GT with SineWave controllers launched with a large, easy-to-read TFT display. This screen shows a lot more information—such as the selected drive mode (one / two motors), the controller temperature, or the battery level in precise percentages.
Another big difference in this version is the throttle control, which is operated via a thumb lever.
The GT model is also sold with Minimotors controllers, and this version includes the same Minimotors EY3 display as the King+ model, along with the same thumb throttle control.
Another undeniable advantage of the GT model over the “Plus” version is its installed directional turn signals. They’re located both at the front and in the rear light.
The Kaabo Wolf King GT package is also richer: you get two charging adapters right away for faster charging.
These are all the important specifications of the new flagship electric scooters from the portfolio of the quality manufacturer Kaabo. We even sourced the Wolf King+ model ourselves, and in a few paragraphs below, we’ll summarize our impressions of the scooter and the ride.
Our impressions of the Kaabo Wolf King+ scooter
We couldn’t resist and ordered a Wolf King+ e-scooter for ourselves too. We placed the order with the seller Ninebot Global Store (SumTop Store) on DHgate, and we agreed with the seller that they would ship the scooter in a container straight to Europe together with other scooters they were stocking in their Polish warehouse at the time.
We waited for the scooter for about 3 months, since the new July law caused a long delay for the entire container at Polish customs. If we had ordered it separately from the Chinese warehouse by train, we would probably have had it sooner—but the seller offered this option, so we took it. The scooter finally arrived on August 31st and the wait was worth it.
Before that, we only had a chance to test cheaper Chinese scooters, like the Kugoo G-Booster or the Janobike T85 worth around €1000–1100. Right after unboxing, we noticed a clear jump in build quality.
The whole construction is massive and robust—nothing rattles, there’s no play, everything is where it should be. The quality is on a completely different level than what we’ve been used to so far. Of course, that difference is also reflected in the price.
Another major difference we noticed is in the handlebars – the Wolf King+ has a fairly stiff steering feel, which is an advantage in terms of the scooter’s stability. Here you won’t run into any “wobbling”. On the other hand, you need to put in much more effort and energy to control the scooter. Combined with massive power up to 6.7 kW, you really need to grip it firmly and have the right stance, because that power literally rips the scooter out of your hands.
It took us about 100 km to get properly used to the scooter. Riding it is seriously fun, but we don’t recommend riding without a helmet. We got a classic full-size one for a motorcycle, which we also recommend to you.
The power and instant torque are absolutely insane. It reaches 40 km/h within a few seconds, and then the power delivery becomes less dramatic—but it’s still more than enough. We only launch in ECO mode, where the throttle is less sensitive and the scooter is easier to control. When starting in Turbo mode, the scooter immediately spins the wheels.
With a rider weight of under 90 kg, we managed to reach a top speed of 88 km/h (according to the display), with the battery charged to about 60%. We estimate that with a 100% battery, scooters with our weight would reach up to 95 km/h.

Our model includes a 28 Ah battery from LG, so the battery quality is guaranteed. So far, we’ve managed to cover about 45 km on a single charge, with riding speeds staying above 40 km/h. At slower speeds, the battery can definitely do more.
What about riding comfort? The scooter’s suspension is just right—not too soft and not too hard. It handles asphalt roads perfectly fine, and even slightly rough terrain too, but it really doesn’t like tougher terrain with larger stones. The front suspension often hits the end stops, which shows up as a slight knocking in the dampers.
On terrain like this, riding comfort is significantly reduced, because the small 11″ wheels can’t absorb bigger bumps or potholes. We don’t recommend riding on overly difficult terrain with this scooter.
If we were to sum it up: we can recommend this scooter to all electric-scooter enthusiasts. It has plenty of power, a robust build with exceptionally high quality, branded batteries with long range, and a gold color that grabs everyone’s attention. It’s no wonder that Kaabo Wolf King+ and GT are in the TOP 5 best scooters in the world.
