The biggest draw of the new model is undoubtedly the large 13.2-inch LCD panel with a 7:5 aspect ratio—ideal for working with documents, browsing the web, and multitasking. With a screen-to-body ratio of up to 89.4%, the tablet looks modern and offers maximum space for content.

The display offers a resolution of 3392 × 2400 pixels, 315 PPI sharpness, and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. The manufacturer didn’t forget professional color reproduction either: 98% DCI-P3 coverage, 12-bit color depth, and a DeltaE accuracy of about 0.7. Peak brightness reaches up to 1000 nits in HBM mode.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is the absolute top

OnePlus Pad 4 runs on the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform with a Qualcomm Oryon CPU clocked up to 4.608 GHz. Adreno 840 handles graphics performance at 1200 MHz. The manufacturer claims a score of over 4 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark.

The tablet is available in versions with 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB storage of the UFS 4.1 type. This combination ensures smooth performance even with demanding apps, video editing, working with large files, or playing the latest games.

Advanced cooling for sustained performance

With powerful hardware, efficient cooling is key. OnePlus has therefore introduced a new Cryo-Velocity Cooling System with a total area of up to 40,760 mm². A large vapor chamber together with graphite layers helps maintain stable temperatures even during long gaming sessions or demanding work.

The result is higher long-term performance without significant overheating, along with better energy efficiency. That way, the tablet can fully unleash the new Snapdragon’s potential even under long-term load.

An extreme battery with a capacity of 13,380 mAh

One of the biggest strengths of the new model is the massive 13,380 mAh battery. It’s among the largest batteries found in today’s premium tablets. The manufacturer claims up to 20 hours of video playback or about 54 days in standby.

When you run low on power, you get fast 80 W SUPERVOOCO charging. With it, the tablet charges significantly faster than most competitors in this category.

Only the WiFi version for the European market

It’s worth noting that the European version of the tablet is available exclusively as a WiFi model. The device does not support a physical SIM card or eSIM. For an internet connection, it uses wireless networks only.

On the other hand, the newest Wi‑Fi 7 is here, along with Bluetooth 6.0 and a USB-C 3.2 Gen1 port with data transfer speeds up to 5 Gb/s. Wi‑Fi 7 support ensures ultra-fast data transfers and a stable connection even in more demanding conditions.

OnePlus AI and productivity features

The manufacturer also bet big on extensive artificial intelligence integration. OnePlus AI delivers smart tools for notes, work organization, automatic meeting transcriptions, or content generation. One interesting feature is the AI Recorder, which can create transcriptions and summaries of recordings.

You’ll also find the AI Painter for generating images, support for Google Gemini, and extensive syncing with other OnePlus devices. The tablet supports screen sharing, file transfers between Android, Windows, macOS and iOS, plus advanced multitasking like on a computer.

Eight speakers for multimedia

The multimedia experience is complemented by a full set of eight speakers. Four bass drivers and four tweeters provide a far more spacious sound than with typical tablets. So when watching movies or playing games, you don’t have to reach for external speakers right away.

The package also includes support for modern Bluetooth codecs, including aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, LDAC, and LHDC 5.0. Wireless audio fans will be delighted.
