48 MPx triple camera
The camera is very high quality. By the way, the same main sensor was used in the new OnePlus 8 as well — it’s a 48 MPx Sony IMX586 Exmor RS with an ƒ/ 1.6 aperture.
It also includes a telephoto 12 MPx sensor for 2x optical zoom, along with a wide-angle 16 MPx sensor (117º FOV). This setup is truly comprehensive, and we doubt most users would need anything more.
4K video and quality stabilization
We also can’t overlook high-quality video in 4K at 60 or 30 fps. You also get Super Slow Motion slow-motion video at 240/480/960 fps.
We had the chance to test hybrid stabilization (OIS + EIS) on the OnePlus 7T Pro, and it’s the same here too—an incredible reduction of bumps and a smooth image, as if it were filmed with a gimbal.
3800 mAh with fast 30 W charging
The battery capacity isn’t the absolute highest, which is a minor downside. But you’ll be pleased with the very fast 30 W Warp Charge 30T charging. We don’t have wireless charging here.
Snappy Oxygen OS and more features
The OnePlus 7T includes its own Oxygen OS custom skin, which users really love and that runs very smoothly. Developers really nailed it with this OS. The Android version is 10 Q.
We also really liked the haptic vibrations, which can deliver a more natural vibration feel. There’s also NFC that lets you pay contactlessly.
A handy feature is the side switch “Alert Slider”, with which you can quickly set the alert mode.
