High-quality recordings and solar power

To support Reolink, many users also write in their reviews on the “Google Play” store that it’s not possible to view the camera image using data—it only works via Wi-Fi. Reolink has promised many times to fix the issue, but it hasn’t. It always works for one day and then it breaks again. So Reolink is never again.

I have Reolink cameras for a long time and I’ve never had any problems. I connect from anywhere in the world using mobile data and I can view the terrace and the surroundings of my house. Everything works perfectly.

I love people who start throwing insults at some brand and say there are many other better brands, but they don’t even mention a single one.

It’s like when someone says… I would definitely buy a different car… and which one? I don’t know.

I have 4 Reolink cameras at home that monitor my house. Bought them a year ago when the prices were 15–20% lower than they are now. They’re not pro; the app has bugs that are acceptable, and for me that’s enough. One camera broke while under warranty—they sent me a new one, and they didn’t even want the old one back. So far, I’m satisfied with the price-to-utility ratio.

The reality is this: the “Reolink” “brand” isn’t a top-tier brand and doesn’t belong among the pro manufacturers. It’s a low-cost “user-friendly” brand with hardware that’s generationally outdated at unbelievably overpriced prices. We have other pro brands here, and Reolink doesn’t rank among them—same goes for Xiaomi, etc. You can turn something into awesomeness even if you don’t know it—I guarantee you that in the long run 😉

Hello. For an average person who doesn’t deal with specific hardware parameters and wants the camera to record an image, with some extra smart features, good night vision, the Reolink brand is definitely sufficient. We think that with those clearance sale prices, they’re fair prices for the hardware. We focus on a wide range of products, so we can’t break everything down in detail and we’re not experts in everything—so please forgive us when a superlative pops up here and there. We often compare products with even cheaper China offerings, so maybe that’s why we emphasized the Reolink brand more.
