[REVIEW] SmartAI V6 is a favorite among Slovaks: An affordable cordless vacuum cleaner with unbeatable value for money

SmartAI V6 review shows that even an affordable cordless vacuum can deliver results you’d usually expect from more expensive models. We tested it in a real 81 m² three-room apartment, where it had to handle laminate floors, tiles, carpets, and everyday household mess.

Cordless stick vacuums are extremely popular these days. They offer freedom without a cable, easy storage, and quick use without having to pull out a bulky, traditional vacuum cleaner. On the other hand, with cheaper models you often wonder whether they’ll have enough power, quality filtration, and truly usable battery life.

SmartAI V6 impressed us already on paper. The manufacturer promises a powerful motor, high suction power, a battery with up to 80 minutes of runtime, and a modern LCD display. In practice, we were mainly curious whether it’s just marketing or a genuinely capable model.

On paper, the specs look very good—especially if we take the device price into account. The key question, though, is how these figures translate into real everyday use.

In the box and accessories

In the package you’ll find everything you need for immediate use—main unit, tube, floor head, crevice tool, 2-in-1 combination attachment, battery, charger, wall mount, and a spare HEPA filter.

A big plus is the spare filter and the practical wall holder with charging. You also get a basic set of attachments for different types of cleaning, so you can use the vacuum not only on floors, but also for corners or hard-to-reach areas.

SmartAI V6 review – Real test in an 81 m² apartment

The test took place in a typical three-room apartment with laminate, tiles, carpets, and everyday household mess. In other words, exactly the conditions most people will use it in.

During the test, we tracked battery life, ease of use, noise level, and real performance on different surfaces. We were also interested in whether it can clean the entire apartment without needing to charge it along the way.

SmartAI V6 review – Battery life in practice

The battery was one of the most interesting parts of the test. The manufacturer claims up to 80 minutes of runtime in ECO mode, and the real-world results pleasantly surprised us.

ECO mode

After cleaning the 81 m² apartment, there would still be approximately 55 to 60% battery left. That’s a very good result, because the vacuum cleaner would then be able to handle one more short cleaning session.

AUTO mode

After cleaning the entire apartment, there would be approximately 40 to 45% battery left. At the same time, we consider this mode the ideal compromise between performance and runtime.

TURBO mode

If you use TURBO mode exclusively, you’ll still have approximately 15 to 20% battery left after cleaning. This mode delivers the highest performance, but it naturally consumes the most power.

The results are above average in this price category. Plus, it’s a model that can easily handle a full apartment cleaning on a single charge.

Battery and charging

A battery with a capacity of 24,000 mAh is one of the strong points of this model. You can charge it directly or via a wall mount.

A full charge took about 4 to 4.5 hours in our test. When the capacity drops below 10%, a warning starts blinking on the display. Thanks to that, you always know when it’s time to charge the vacuum.

Performance on hard floors

On laminate and tile, the SmartAI V6 performs very well. Crumbs, dust, hair, and pet fur often disappear on the very first pass.

On hard floors, the ECO mode is completely enough for most users. What’s more, in this mode the vacuum is quieter and the battery drains more slowly.

Carpet performance

On carpets, the difference between ECO and TURBO mode is clearly noticeable. TURBO mode can pull fine dust and pet hair deeper from the fibers.

It’s not a professional deep-cleaner, but as a versatile home vacuum it performs very well overall. So for regular carpets, it’s more than enough.

Noise level

During testing, we measured the maximum noise level at about 68 dB, which is a very solid value. The minimum was reached in eco mode: 20 dB.

When cleaning at home normally, you definitely won’t disturb your neighbors with the vacuum’s noise. Plus, in ECO mode, the operation is pleasantly quiet.

Filtration and maintenance

The SmartAI V6 uses HEPA filtration and a dustbin with a capacity of about 1.6 liters. Emptying is easy and there are no bags.

The filter can be removed and cleaned easily, which every user will appreciate with regular maintenance. It’s also great that the package includes a spare HEPA filter.

Handling and ergonomics

One of the biggest advantages is its low weight (3 kg), good balance, and easy maneuvering. That way, when cleaning the whole apartment, we didn’t feel hand fatigue.

The Smart AI V6 vacuum cleaner feels lightweight and is comfortable to control even with longer use. Also, swapping attachments is simple, so you don’t waste time during cleaning.

For better context, we also compared the SmartAI V6 with the premium Dyson V15 Detect model.

SmartAI V6 vs Dyson

Dyson objectively has better features, higher-quality materials, and more smart functions. On the other hand, the SmartAI V6 costs several times less. For everyday cleaning, many people therefore won’t feel a major difference. Overall, the SmartAI V6 has more strong points than critical drawbacks.

Final verdict

After a few days of testing in a typical 81 m² apartment, the SmartAI V6 made a better impression on us than we originally expected. For the price it’s sold at, it delivers very solid performance, comfortable use, and a runtime that was more than enough to clean the whole apartment on a single charge.

The battery was one of its strongest points. Even after fully vacuuming, it wasn’t completely drained, which isn’t always the case with cheaper cordless stick vacuums. During use, we were also pleasantly surprised by its good balance, easy handling, and hassle-free maintenance.

Of course, it isn’t a match for premium Dyson models with advanced sensors and top-tier build quality. However, for everyday cleaning, the SmartAI V6 performs very well and, in most situations, doesn’t lack anything essential.

So if you’re looking for an affordable cordless vacuum for regular apartment or house cleaning and you don’t want to invest hundreds of euros in more expensive brands, the SmartAI V6 offers excellent value for its price.
