We tested it in the editorial office
The official Soundcore store sent us their latest speaker, the Soundcore Motion X600, for testing. Right from the first look, this model impressed us with its unusual luxurious appearance and high-quality build. The top uses materials like aluminum, which is also used for the handle, and everything feels sturdy and solid.
We would like to point out to audiophiles that these are more our impressions of the speaker and we are not providing a detailed review of sound quality.
Very clean sound
The most important part that everyone cares about is sound quality. We expected weaker bass from this speaker because it’s not such a large speaker with a big driver diameter like the Motion Boom or its more powerful sibling Motion Boom Plus, and that’s exactly what we found.
Even so, although the bass is a bit weaker, the sound is beautifully clean, and of all the Soundcore speakers we’ve heard, it has the best sound with the widest range. We particularly like modern bass-heavy music, and this model serves that purpose brilliantly.
Soundcore Motion X600 has stereo sound, and it uses 5 sound drivers and 3 amplifiers for playback.
The connection works via the Bluetooth LDAC protocol or directly through a 3.5 mm audio jack cable for audiophiles.
Approx. 10 hours of battery life
The manufacturer states a battery life of 12 hours. Naturally, they always report it with a bit of exaggeration, and it’s not realistically achievable—especially at the higher volume we used. During the test, our volume was set to about 50% and it lasted around 10 hours of playback.
Premium look, controls right on top
This isn’t the kind of speaker you’d take outside and want to turn up for a party. It’s more a model for home use—which the beautiful design also suggests. It’s a piece you don’t want to scratch up.
On the top, you can use a button to enable Spatial Audio mode for a more balanced sound and also activate the stronger bass. There’s no shortage of a Bluetooth button for pairing, volume control, and playback.

Soundcore brings its new Soundcore Motion X600 speaker in a stylish, elongated design with an integrated handle on the frame. In stores, you’ll find color versions Polar Grey, Aurora Green, and Lunar Blue.
You can customize the color to match, for example, the design of your living room. The construction also offers increased water resistance with IP X7 certification.
Across the entire built-in speaker system, total output power is 50 W. It’s delivered by up to 5 drivers and 3 amplifiers arranged to create spatial HiFi sound in any situation. The speaker supports three Hi-Res Audio standards: Hi-Res Audio, Hi-Res Audio Wireless, and LDAC.
Spatial Audio and a mobile app with an equalizer
Also included is the Spatial Audio Engine, an integrated chip designed to provide not only a high-quality stereo experience, but above all a conversion to three-channel audio for a home-cinema-level listening feel. Wireless Bluetooth connectivity helps you connect to your smartphone as well as to the Soundcore mobile app. It also includes a professional equalizer with the option to tailor the sound to your needs.
The design features a rubber cover that protects the connectors, under which there’s also a 3.5 mm jack for wired playback from your source. The built-in battery provides up to 12 hours of music playback. For recharging it, you can use the USB-C connector.
In the retail package of this product, you’ll find the speaker itself: Soundcore Motion X600. You’ll also get a charging cable with a USB Type-C connector, and an AUX audio cable with a 3.5 mm diameter, plus a brief user manual and the initial device setup—once again, as tradition goes, in English.

To Jan: so you’re telling me that the Motion X600 is better and also higher quality and more powerful than the Motion Boom Plus? What do you mean by the term “speaker quality”? If you mean the materials, then yes—X600 is the higher-quality speaker. In this respect, yes. Watts don’t determine speaker quality, they only determine the quality of reproduction and output power, and that’s basically and clearly better with the Motion Boom Plus. Just watch the direct comparison videos of these speakers on YouTube and you’ll understand. The point that watts don’t determine the quality of reproduction and output power only applies to brands like Tronsmart, or Xdobo, Blitzwolf, and similar China brands.
I hope you understand that Watts really don’t determine the quality of a speaker. The Motion Boom can make a louder sound, but that doesn’t mean it plays better quality.
Yes, but as I wrote above, its own competition beats it price-wise—Motion Boom Plus goes for 139€ with a coupon, so this one is significantly less powerful and more expensive? Probably materials make a lot of difference—the premium metal + design likely drive the price up… ..Ok, I have Tronsmart Force Max at home (80W). I even bought two to use in a pair, but I’ll probably get rid of them. Brand-name products are really in a different league. Like Anker (Soundcore) or Tribit—I also bought an Earfun U-Boom L recently, which a long-time pro sound reviewer recommends on YouTube in almost every video. Even that’s just an ordinary sub-30W speaker—put it in a pair and it shoves my 80W Tronsmart Max in my pocket. In terms of bass and sound quality, too—absolutely unbelievable! For those 80W on the Tronsmart, it then becomes clear it’s obviously fake on paper; in reality it’s still far from real 80W—maybe around 20–25W max. Similar to the fake wattage claims from Xdobo, Blitzwolf, and other China brands… just your typical sketchy Chinese junk. Unfortunately. I won’t fall for it again—I won’t get tricked anymore.
Also, there’s something like the Tronsmart Bang for 74€ — and even though you’re offering it for 60W at your promo, that’s still 10W more and about half the price. So practically for the price of the X600 you get 2x Bang. So it’s worth asking whether the X600 really has such quality bass and sound that it justifies asking for 2x as much… Hmm
Soundcore products are really hard to compare with Tronsmart. They’re completely on a different quality level.
In my opinion, there’s no real chance of them succeeding on the market if you compare them to their own better — a much more powerful — competitor: the Soundcore Motion Boom Plus costs less too. With the coupon, it’s currently about €139. I think you have it on your site too, in your current offers… This new 50W model will likely drop in price quickly, because its performance falls below that one. It’s currently more expensive just because it’s an absolute newcomer. I’d guess that in the short term it will drop somewhere around the €100 mark. For the coupon, that would be a pretty fair price for this model. That’s at least my take. Of course, I’m not lowering the quality or its capabilities… It also looks great design-wise — a beautiful piece.
