We’ve just received the latest TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro with WearOS in our editorial office for testing! We can rate them as a premium piece among smartwatches. The design is quite simple and elegant. They’re better suited for the outdoors, but they won’t be out of place even at more formal occasions.
Right from the start, it’s clear that the watch is built with quality and is durable. The system runs fast, the app is clear, and it excels in battery life. It’s rare to find WearOS watches that can easily last while fully charged for up to three days. That’s also thanks to the special power-saving Always-On display, which shows basic information.
TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro: Metal body, AMOLED and the WearOS system
Let’s start with the build. The smart watch TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro directly follows its predecessor. It features a circular design of the metal body (7000-series aluminum), a silicone strap (24 mm, fluorocaucout), robust and protruding bezels to protect the display, plus a physical button and a color-coded crown with haptic feedback along the side edge for controlling the system.
The watch also impresses with a reasonable weight of 44.7 grams (for the watch itself only, without the strap). The front is home to a large, up to 1.43” AMOLED panel, offering maximum resolution 466 x 466 pixels and a maximum brightness of 300 nits. The resulting sharpness is 326 ppi. There’s also a unique monochrome secondary display under the main color one, which helps improve battery life.
In this version, the display is protected by a durable sapphire crystal, which isn’t a given in this class of watches. It also supports the popular Always-On function for continuously showing information. It also supports up to 7000 virtual watch faces from the TimeShow app and the Play Store.
Performance is handled by the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1, made using a 4 nm manufacturing process. It’s also paired with a 22 nm coprocessor, 2 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal storage. The operating system is WearOS version 3.5 (not yet WearOS 4).
Durability 5 ATM, NFC for mobile payments, and a 628 mAh battery
The manufacturer also emphasizes that these are ultra-low power consumption smartwatches. They come with 18 backlight color options for easy readability in low light. There’s also integration with third-party apps to display workout information. You’ll also find plenty of health and fitness features, including heart-rate monitoring (with AFib), sleep tracking (free 12-month VIP paid service in the app), as well as stress measurement and blood oxygen level readings. It also supports snore detection and offers VO2 Max.
In addition, the smartwatches support more than 110 indoor and outdoor training modes and come with the TicExercise app feature that lets you monitor your heart rate through changing backlight colors—so you can check your heart-rate zone with just a quick glance at the screen.
Other features include 5 ATM water resistance and MIL-STD-810H certification. TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro also offers one-tap measurement for five health metrics, notifications for phone calls and messages, a compass, a skin temperature sensor, Bluetooth 5.2, and Wi‑Fi (2.4 GHz). It also includes NFC for payments via Google Wallet, a speaker, a microphone, and GPS support, including Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS.
Inside, there’s a 628 mAh battery that delivers up to 90 hours of battery life in smart mode (10 hours more than the previous TicWatch Pro 5) and up to 45 days in the Essential power-saving mode. The smartwatches also support fast charging, and the manufacturer states that the secondary display can be used with the Always-on feature.
