Are you shopping on AliExpress for the first time?

The process is via the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. There are two key things: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary, in the field Promo code. After you click Pay now, you won’t be able to add it.

1. Copy the code and click Use discountIn our article, copy the coupon and click the button GET DISCOUNT. The link will take you directly to the product in the AliExpress app.
2. Use Add to cart instead of Buy nowOn the product card, scroll down and tap Add to cart. Don’t use the Buy now button—you’ll skip the cart, and later you won’t have anywhere to enter the coupon. Before that, double-check the variant: the color, the version, and whether it ships from an EU warehouse.

Apply the discount already at the order summary. After you click Pay now, you can no longer add a coupon. If Apply shows an error, the code has either expired, doesn’t apply to your items, or the order doesn’t meet the minimum amount.

Comparison of specifications of new tablets

Design & dimensions

All models from today’s comparison, thanks to their modern design execution, fit right into the 21st century. Xiaomi tablets are slightly thicker (6.9 mm), while the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 is only 5.8 mm thick. At the same time, the 5G Xiaomi model is more than 30 grams lighter.

Tablets from both manufacturers are made from durable aluminum, which gives the devices the necessary premium feel. Both tablets also include a fingerprint sensor, but Xiaoxin Pad adds secure 3D unlocking with face recognition.

Display

This brings us to a fairly significant difference between these tablets. The Xiaomi models feature an 11″ IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, while the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 offers a 11.5″ 90 Hz OLED display.

In this case, it comes down to the user’s personal preferences. The Lenovo tablet delivers nicer, more vivid colors, while the Xiaomi one is a bit smoother. So the visual experience will be top-notch either way. As for audio, Xiaomi takes the win. Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro tablets have up to 8 speakers, while the Lenovo tablet has four fewer.

Power and battery

In terms of performance, all the tablets are more or less the same. Under the hood you’ll find a powerful processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, and the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro 5G model also supports mobile networks.

All three tablets offer a battery with exactly the same capacity, i.e. 8600 mAh. Final battery life per charge will depend on several factors, including software optimization, but the Lenovo tablet also benefits from the OLED technology, which can save battery especially in dark mode.

Both Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro and Mi Pad 5 Pro 5G support ultra-fast charging up to 67 W, while the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 only supports 20 W fast charging. Xiaomi tablets run MIUI for tablets, while the Lenovo tablet runs on ZUI.

Cameras

Now we’re back to the section with more differences. We’ll start with the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro, which features a main 13 MP sensor and a 5 MP depth sensor. The 5G version has a main 50 MP camera module and again the same 5 MP depth sensor. Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 comes with a 13 MP main sensor and a 5 MP wide-angle lens.

As for the front camera configuration, all three tablets have an 8 MP selfie camera, but Lenovo’s model also adds a 3D ToF sensor for secure shape unlocking. Xiaomi tablets can record video up to 4K at 30 FPS, while the Lenovo model handles a maximum of Full HD at 30 FPS.

Price

The prices of these devices are almost identical. Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro 5G starts at 330 € / 387 $, and Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 begins at 320 € / 366 $. These prices apply to the Chinese market, since the devices have not been announced on the global market yet.

Deciding between these tablets isn’t easy. The good news, though, is that all models fall into the category of tablets with an excellent price-to-specs ratio, so you definitely won’t make a mistake with either of them.
