The huge Honor X10 Max has been unveiled. It features a 7-inch display and a Dimensity 800 processor

Today, Honor introduced its second phone in this line. The first one was Honor 30 Lite, and it has now been joined by the new Honor X10 Max 5G. This is a new member of the X10 series, targeting users of mid-range smartphones with an excellent price.

Huge display

Perhaps the most interesting spec of the whole smartphone is the size of its display panel. An IPS LCD display with a resolution of Full HD, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and a maximum brightness of 780 nits measures 7.09″.

Honor X10 Max is one of the few phones featuring a screen size larger than seven inches. The dimensions of the new model are 174.37 x 84.91 x 8.3 mm and the weight stops at a fairly large number — 227 grams.

What’s interesting is that Honor implemented a display with an RGBW color profile in its smartphone, where the added “W” supposedly represents white pixels. These should significantly improve battery life when displaying white color.

In terms of performance, the new device is powered by a fairly new processor, the MediaTek Dimensity 800. Of course, it supports 5G networks and offers plenty of performance even for more demanding games.

The smartphone’s memory configurations consist of 6/64 GB, 6/128 GB, and 8/128 GB RAM and internal storage. A side high-capacity fingerprint reader takes care of security.

The camera setup consists of three capable sensors. The main camera features a 48 MPx resolution sensor, complemented by an 8 MPx wide-angle lens and a 2 MPx depth-of-field sensor. The selfie camera in the cutout has 8 MPx.

The battery in the Honor X10 Max has a capacity of 5 000 mAh, ensuring a sufficiently long runtime for several days. It also includes fast charging support for 22.5 W.

Other equipment includes Wi-Fi 802.11 ca, AGPS, Glonass, Beidou, and it also features the popular NFC. For audio, the device offers a 3.5 mm jack and two stereo speakers with support for Huawei Histen 6.1.

Price will make you happy

Honor X10 Max 5G was unveiled today for the domestic Chinese market, and it should go on sale as early as July 3rd. The smartphone comes in three color variants — pink, black, and blue — at the following prices:

• Honor X10 Max 6 GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage priced at 1899 yuan = 238 € / 268 $
• Honor X10 Max 6 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage priced at 2099 yuan = 263 € / 297 $
• Honor X10 Max 8 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage priced at 2499 yuan = 313 € / 353 $
