ℹ️ Info about the models: JOYOR S5-Z is a slightly faster version. It has a 600 W motor and reaches a maximum speed of 25 km/h instead of the maximum 20 km/h on the ABE models. The JOYOR S5 Pro model differs from the standard version mainly with its significantly longer range — it can go up to 70 to 100 km, which is almost double compared to the S5 model. It also has a twice larger battery capacity — up to 26 Ah.

At the heart of the JOYOR S5-Z scooter is the 600 W brushless motor, ensuring smooth acceleration and the ability to handle climbs without a significant drop in power. In combination with the 48 V / 13 Ah battery with 18650-type cells, it delivers a real-world range of 40 to 55 kilometers — more than enough even for longer trips without the need for frequent charging.
The manufacturer didn’t forget an intelligent battery management system either, which uses the LCD display to show the battery status and, in case of a problem, immediately alerts you. Charging is done using a standard adapter and takes approximately 6 to 8 hours to fully charge.
Comfortable riding with off-road tires
The JOYOR S5-Z has noticeably wider tires with a size of 10 x 3.0 inches, which together with a anti-slip tread pattern and suspension provide a very comfortable ride even on uneven roads. The tires absorb shocks well and reduce fatigue on longer rides.
The suspension is complemented by front and rear disc brakes, which are effective and reliable even at higher speeds. The scooter also features cruise control, which reduces fatigue on longer routes and optimizes energy consumption.

The electric scooter JOYOR S5 is built on the proven aluminum-alloy frame design of the S10-S model. Besides its great looks, it also features perfectly responsive hydraulic brakes and very sturdy handlebars with adjustable height. There’s also a smart cruise control that adjusts and maintains a stable speed as needed and optimizes battery life. From a safety standpoint, it doesn’t lack front and rear lights or a safety lock.

The JOYOR S5 Pro is a version built on the same proven foundation as the S5 ABE, but with a double battery capacity—48 V / 26 Ah instead of 13 Ah. As a result, the range increases to 70 to 100 kilometers, making it the best choice for those who don’t want to worry about frequent charging or who plan longer rides. The motor and the maximum speed of 20 km/h remain the same as with the standard ABE version, so the S5 Pro also meets the conditions for the PZP insurance exception.

You should note that replacing the rear tire is a real pain, because the manufacturer used a motor with a disc counter-part on the cable side, so you need to remove the motor. It requires disassembling the scooter, pulling out the cable, and so on… For a normal person it’s basically impossible; for service it’s a job.
