On the other hand, the competing model relies on so-called in-sensor zoom, which in practice is only a high-quality digital crop from a 200 MP sensor. At smaller zoom levels it still works well, but at higher values Realme clearly pulls ahead. This is where it becomes clear that hardware still matters more than software’s “detail enhancement.” If you like zooming or shooting objects from a distance, the difference between these two approaches is significant.

Another strong point of Realme is portrait photography. The algorithms are tuned to make skin look natural—not overly sharp, which is a common issue with some competitors. Background blur is subtle and feels more like a DSLR than a phone. The front 50 MP camera is also excellent—it offers more detail than the usual average, which you’ll appreciate for selfies and videos.

At night, both models are relatively close because they use large 200 MP sensors with pixel binning.
