We tested an electric e-scooter for the city, the AOVOPRO 365GO, which ranks among the cheapest e-scooters from China. It’s a copy of a popular Xiaomi model, with a 350 W motor and a max speed of 31 km/h.
So what’s an affordable Xiaomi-style e-scooter copy like this? Is it worth buying? You’ll find the answers in our short review. We’ll also look at overall ride comfort and measure the range on a single charge.
Where to buy the AOVOPRO 365GO?
The AOVOPRO 365GO e-scooter is available from the popular seller Banggood with fast shipping in the range of 3 to 10 business days, thanks to a European warehouse. As part of the review, we also prepared an exclusive coupon with a TOP price for you!

Package contents
The AOVOPRO 365GO electric scooter was delivered to us by the DPD courier in a box measuring 110 x 53.5 x 15.2 cm and weighing 15.9 kg. This suggests it’s a compact electric scooter for the city.
Inside the box you’ll find the scooter in folded condition, with the handlebars disassembled. The accessories include Allen keys, screws, a charger, and a user manual.
Quick folding
As we already mentioned, after unpacking you won’t face any complicated assembly. Instead, you just take the scooter out of the box and attach the handlebars in place. It’s the same principle as the original, the Xiaomi 365.
To mount the handlebars, we need 4 screws that hold them in place from the front and rear. The manufacturer also added two extra spare screws.
After this step, the scooter is ready to ride. Even the battery was charged up to 91%.
Build quality and design
The AOVOPRO 365GO electric scooter is made of an aluminum alloy, and its build quality is very similar to the original. As for the design, we have to admit it’s a fairly faithful copy. However, you’ll find some small differences we’ll discuss one by one.
The handlebars are 42.5 cm wide, and in the middle you’ll find a display. On the left side there’s a brake lever together with an integrated small bell, a hook to attach it to the fender after folding, and on the right side you’ll find only the throttle control.
The handlebar height is 111 cm from the ground, which is pretty good. With our height of 185 cm it’s just right, but a few extra centimeters wouldn’t hurt.
The foot platform is rubberized, so your feet won’t slip. Similar to the case of the Xiaomi M365, its surface is quite small. The dimensions of the foot space on the platform are approximately 48 x 14.5 cm, not counting the rounded edges.
You won’t miss the fenders on both the rear and front wheels, and there’s front and rear LED lighting.

Wheels, brakes, and folding
The wheels, unlike the e-scooter from Xiaomi, are rubber—solid, with holes that should provide a certain level of cushioning. They’re 8.5 inches, and their advantage is that you can’t get a puncture. The downside is that they’re fairly hard, and on wet surfaces they slip more than inflatable tires.
As for the brakes, there’s a standard rear disc brake that’s also complemented by an electric one. The disc brake is mechanical and cable-operated—it’s just a basic model where the brake pad pushes on one side of the disc.
The electric brake is rather weak, but it’s there. As for folding, the mechanism is different from the original model’s design. However, you can fold the scooter very easily and carry it in your hand. During our testing, we didn’t notice any play in the folding joint.
Display and app with the option to increase speed
Following the original model, there’s also a display integrated into the handlebars here, specifically in their middle. Its main element is the current speed, but you’ll also find a riding mode, battery capacity—which is shown only graphically—and a few status icons for the lights or cruise control.
Unfortunately, the display brightness is quite low, so it’s difficult to read in direct sunlight.
Surprisingly, even in this price category, the scooter has Bluetooth and an app, which lets us pair the AOVOPRO 365GO with a smartphone.
The pairing is very easy, fast, and intuitive. In the center of the app screen, you can see the current speed, so you can use your phone with the app turned on as a sort of dashboard.
Using the app, you can easily and quickly switch riding modes, turn cruise control and lights on or off, or lock the scooter. In the scooter details, you’ll find information such as battery capacity in percent, battery voltage, and the total distance traveled.
If 25 km/h top speed isn’t enough for you, in the app’s advanced settings you can increase the speed limit up to 60 km/h—which, of course, isn’t the real speed. This way, the scooter reaches up to 31 km/h.
Riding modes and comfort while riding
We have three riding modes available: the weakest one at 15 km/h, the middle mode with a max of 20 km/h, and a sport mode at 25 km/h, where the 350 W motor shows its full power. Between modes, you can switch easily using the button under the display.
The scooter’s acceleration is pretty good, but the ride comfort isn’t the best. Since the scooter doesn’t have air-filled tires, despite the holes in the rubber, it cushions worse than the classic setup like the Xiaomi M365.
Battery and range on a single charge
AOVOPRO 365GO has a 36 V / 7.8 Ah battery and a manufacturer-rated range of 15 – 20 km. As in our other reviews, we rode in the highest mode at a top speed of 31 km/h on the streets of Košice.
On a single charge, we covered 14.41 km according to the Runkeeper app. According to the 365GO app, it was up to 19 km. We rode until the last battery segment on the display lit up red. At that point, the scooter’s performance dropped noticeably, and the remaining capacity was around 15%.

AOVOPRO 365GO: Final assessment
The AOVOPRO 365GO electric scooter is among the cheapest scooters and, essentially, it’s a clone of the popular Xiaomi M365 model. The motor has 350 W power, and after unlocking the speed via the app, you can reach a maximum speed of 31 km/h.
A 36-volt battery with 7.8 Ah capacity provides a range of almost 15 km in the top mode. It’s not a lot, but in this price category, we can’t really expect a much stronger battery.

Overall, it’s a very successful city scooter, best suited for shorter trips. Thanks to the solid tires, you won’t get a puncture, but on the other hand, it reduces ride comfort. The scooter’s construction and all its components are high quality, and it’s a truly faithful copy of the Xiaomi M365 with just minor differences.
