These are the currently most powerful flagship phones and mid-range smartphones on the global market

Technology in general is advancing at a very fast pace. Every day new possibilities and insights emerge that, for example, smartphone and component manufacturers use. This includes the raw performance of the devices themselves.

In this article, we’ll take a look at the currently most powerful flagship phones and mid-range smartphones according to the popular AnTuTu benchmark. It’s fascinating to see how drastically performance is increasing even in relatively affordable segments, especially in the flagship range.

The most powerful flagship phones

We want to point out in advance that this article is based on smartphones available on the global market, which means that devices available only for the Chinese market, such as the recently announced Xiaomi Mi 11 (so far only for the Chinese market), are not included here. First, we’ll start with flagship smartphones that offer the best available on the market.

This TOP 10 list of the most powerful smartphones starts with the popular Huawei Mate 40 Pro powered by the Kirin 9000 chipset, delivering an impressive result of 657 784 points. In second place, we find the iQOO Neo3 with 646 016 points.

The third spot went to the popular gaming-focused smartphone with the Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset – Asus ROG Phone 3. It scored a great 630 307 points in the benchmark. Right after that comes the OPPO Find X2 Pro with 610 749 points.

In fifth place, you can see a device from the South Korean giant’s lineup: the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G. Thanks to the Snapdragon 865 Plus processor, it achieved a very nice score of 604 401 points.

At the next position, there’s a smartphone loved by many – OnePlus 8 Pro, rated at 584 057 points. The seventh spot went to the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G with 581 233 points. Right on its heels, we find another gaming smartphone: the Black Shark 3 with 574 438 points.

The final two smartphones are the Galaxy S20 FE 5G, with a score of 574 187, and the POCO F2 Pro, with 572 474 points. These were, at the moment, the most powerful smartphones on the global market according to AnTuTu.

The most powerful mid-range smartphones

In the following lines, after the flagship models, we’ll present the most powerful devices on the global market that belong to the mid-range category. We’ll start right away with the winner of this list: Honor 30 with 404 970 points.

With only a minimal difference, the device in second place from the parent brand’s lineup is Huawei Nova 7, earning impressive 402,080 points. Third place went to the smartphone Redmi 10X 5G with 394,545 points.

In fourth place, we can find the smartphone Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite 5G with a result of 331,796 points. The fifth spot with 325,915 points went to the well-known Redmi K30 5G. The sixth place also belongs to Xiaomi—specifically the model Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G with 323,260 points.

Seventh place once again goes to Huawei. It was taken by the Huawei Nova 7i model with 313,322 points and its own-manufactured Kirin 810 processor. Eighth place belongs to the smartphone Realme 7 with 291,910 points; ninth place goes to the device Redmi Note 8 Pro with 292,901 points, and in the end we find Realme 6 with 291,109 points.
