Are you shopping on AliExpress for the first time?

The process is via the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. There are two key things: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary, in the field Promo code. After you click Pay now, you won’t be able to add it.

1. Copy the code and click Use discountIn our article, copy the coupon and click the button GET DISCOUNT. The link will take you directly to the product in the AliExpress app.
2. Use Add to cart instead of Buy nowOn the product card, scroll down and tap Add to cart. Don’t use the Buy now button—you’ll skip the cart, and later you won’t have anywhere to enter the coupon. Before that, double-check the variant: the color, the version, and whether it ships from an EU warehouse.
3. Through the cart, go to CheckoutA pop-up will appear: Added to cart! — tap Check it out in it. If it disappeared, open the cart with the icon at the bottom right. In the cart, check the product and quantity, then click the red Checkout. Only the items marked with the red ring will be applied.
4. Enter your address and card, then look for Promo codeIn the order summary, first fill in the delivery address and payment card at the top. Below them there’s a line Promo code — expand it with the arrow on the right.

   

5. Paste the code and confirm ApplyIn the field Promo code paste the copied code and click the black Apply. The code is case-sensitive and must not contain spaces.

   

6. Check the savings and payIn the Summary expand the line Saved — you’ll see the applied coupon there as AliExpress coupons/codes. Only when Total is really lower, click Pay now.

   

Apply the discount already at the order summary. After you click Pay now, you can no longer add a coupon. If Apply shows an error, the code has either expired, doesn’t apply to your items, or the order doesn’t meet the minimum amount.

The Store Coupon also goes in the same field. — a coupon from the seller itself, which isn’t always available and changes from day to day. AliExpress coupons can’t be combined, so try both and go with the one that gives you more. Coins are added automatically.

We found photos online taken directly from reviews, and this is what the scooter looks like right after unboxing. You can see that compared to cheaper models like, for example, Mankeel MK083, it should deliver a more comfortable ride thanks to the larger tires and also the front suspension fork.

The MK085 model is the main draw

The main reason we focus this article on the MK085 is its larger tires. While the MK083 Pro has 8.5-inch solid wheels and a 350 W motor, the electric scooter MK085 offers 10-inch tires and top power of 500 W. With scooters, wheel size is very important—bigger tires handle bumps, small curbs, and rougher roads better.

The MK085 comes with a 36 V battery with a 10.4 Ah capacity. According to the product images, the manufacturer lists an estimated range of about 28 to 33 km—very decent for this price. The real range will depend on the rider’s weight, speed, road surface, temperature, and hills, but for everyday city commuting this capacity should be more than enough.

10-inch tires are the biggest advantage of the MK085 model

With budget scooters, we often see smaller wheels. They may lower the price, but they also reduce comfort. The electric scooter MK085 has 10-inch tires that feel more stable when rolling over bumps and more stable at higher speeds. The cheaper MK083 Pro with 8.5-inch wheels will be a better fit mainly for smoother pavement and shorter routes.

For the MK085, the manufacturer specifies solid tires with no need for classic air inflation. The benefit is a lower risk of punctures and easier maintenance. The downside is usually a firmer ride over uneven surfaces, which is exactly why the dual suspension in front and back is there—to help damp vibrations while riding.

Dual suspension, brakes, and a foldable design

According to the images, the electric scooter MK085 and MK083 Pro both offer front and rear suspension. In this price range, it’s still not fully a given. For city riding, it’s especially useful on cobblestones, cracked asphalt, or roads that aren’t perfectly even.

Braking is handled by a combination of an electronic brake and a rear disc brake. On the rear wheel, you can also see the brake disc, and the manufacturer mentions reliable braking in an emergency situation. The design is foldable, so you can carry the scooter into your apartment or office more easily, or fit it in your car trunk.

LCD display, app, and riding modes

On the handlebars there’s a simple LCD display with one button. It shows speed, battery status, riding mode, the light setting, and error messages. Based on the images, there are three speed modes available, corresponding to approximately 10 / 15 / 25 km/h. That’s especially useful in the city, where you can choose a more efficient mode or a more spirited ride.

MK085 is also supposed to feature wireless app connectivity. Through the app, you should be able to monitor ride data, lock the scooter, enable cruise control, switch the start mode, or adjust the maximum speed. With a budget electric scooter, you can’t expect premium software, but the basic smart features are definitely a nice bonus.
