Are you shopping on AliExpress for the first time?

The process is via the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. There are two key things: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary, in the field Promo code. After you click Pay now, you won’t be able to add it.

Before that, double-check the variant: the color, the version, and whether it ships from an EU warehouse.
3. Through the cart, go to CheckoutA pop-up will appear: Added to cart! — tap Check it out in it. If it disappeared, open the cart with the icon at the bottom right. In the cart, check the product and quantity, then click the red Checkout. Only the items marked with the red ring will be applied.

Apply the discount already at the order summary. After you click Pay now, you can no longer add a coupon. If Apply shows an error, the code has either expired, doesn’t apply to your items, or the order doesn’t meet the minimum amount.

A new brand in the e-scooter world

If you haven’t heard of OOTD yet, it’s a brand-new name—an in-house company, a subsidiary of DUOTTS, about whose models we’ve already written. You won’t find OOTD mentioned on the DUOTTS website, but it does have its own dedicated page, where you’ll find two more models besides the S10. These are the D88 and D99 models, which look visually similar to the popular ANGWATT T1.

Nice urban e-scooter

Carrying the OOTD S10 scooter over obstacles like stairs won’t be a problem for two people. Weighing just 27 kg, it’s much lighter than many other models that can reach up to 50 kg.

You can assemble the OOTD S10 scooter very quickly. Just secure the handlebar in place, which means screwing in 6 screws and connecting 2 cables. The whole process is simple and may take about 5 minutes.

Nice yellow-and-white design, plus an interesting front light

The OOTD S10 is truly a solid, sporty scooter with a simple yet elegant design. It comes mainly in black with striking yellow accents, making it easy to recognize.

The frame is made of aluminum, and the handlebar stem is dotted in black-and-white colors. Even though it can be folded, its height is not adjustable, which means it’s suitable for riders with a height of from 150 to 200 cm.

The scooter has a maximum load capacity of 120 kilograms. On the front, you’ll find a V-shaped indicator that lights up continuously when the scooter is turned on. In addition, it has a LED light built into the handlebar stem, a red rear light, and ambient orange lighting on both sides for better visibility and safety.

Clever placement of the display

The OOTD S10 features a very simple display mounted in the middle of the upper part of the handlebars. Its angled placement reduces glare from sunlight.

The display shows the basic information—current speed, riding modes, indicator lights, and the battery charge level. All icons are clear and easy to read.

A 1400 W motor that reaches a top speed of 55 km/h

The OOTD S10 comes with attractive technical specs. In the rear, you’ll find a 1400-watt motor, capable of delivering a maximum torque of 29 Nm. The scooter reaches a maximum speed of up to 55 km/h.

Its battery has a 48 V voltage and a 20 Ah capacity, which equals 960 Wh. Even though on our website you can also find more powerful models, it’s still a very solid e-scooter. Considering its sale price, with these specs it’s an absolute beast.

The manufacturer promises a range of 60-70 km on a single charge, which is definitely realistically achievable. The OOTD S10 can also handle inclines of up to 15 degrees. With IPX4 protection, the e-scooter is resistant to splashing water, so you can use it without worry even in rainy weather.

Unclear app instructions, but we found a guide

Besides the basic functions, the manufacturer also offers cruise control and Bluetooth, which is already becoming standard equipment on modern electric e-scooters.

Although the marketing description mentions Bluetooth connectivity, no app name or any link or QR code is provided. In the App Store or Google Play Store, you won't find a specific app for this e-scooter called OOTD.

However, the Smart Life app can find the e-scooter and offers several basic functions. Through this app, you can check the current battery level and total mileage. It also lets you turn on cruise control, lock the e-scooter, switch on the lights, and track your route.

Since Smart Life is not a factory app, you can't disable the 25 km/h speed limit through it. The factory app should be called, according to information on the Banggood website, Duotts and it should offer all the necessary functions and settings. According to the guide you can connect the e-scooter. When choosing the device, pay attention, because the S10 name should be AU8.

OOTD S1 loves city riding

The OOTD S10 is not made for off-road use, but it shines on good concrete roads. If you're looking for an e-scooter purely for city riding on paved roads / cycle paths, you'll love it. The e-scooter can handle small hills and curbs, but it's not ideal for unpaved or rough forest or field paths.

Servicing and spare parts availability

This model is completely new, and that shows in its servicing as well. Unfortunately, the parts are not compatible with the “regular China” stuff. On Banggood or Geekbuying, you currently won't find a large selection of available spare parts. For additional parts and accessories, you (for now) need to contact the manufacturer directly.

On the other hand, you can already see plenty of Duotts electric bikes on our streets, which suggests that OOTD e-scooters will probably be a good choice in the long term as well, since it looks like they will enjoy popularity on our market. In that case, service centers will be ready to repair models from this brand too.
